K-Pop Queens : BLACKPINK, aespa, and IVE
Especially, I like Jisoo from BLACKPINK, Winter from aespa, and Ahn Yujin from IVE.
Friends, I hope you fall in love with them.
As of July 2025, the K-Pop landscape is buzzing with fresh releases and exciting global activities from some of its reigning girl groups: BLACKPINK, aespa, and IVE. From long-awaited comebacks to new music and international performances, here's the latest on what these powerhouse groups have been up to.
BLACKPINK Makes a Grand Return with "뛰어 (JUMP)"
After a significant hiatus, BLACKPINK has made a triumphant return to the music scene with their new single, "뛰어 (JUMP)". The song was first unveiled to fans during their 'Deadline' world tour concert in Gocheok, creating a massive buzz online. The official music video and track were released on July 11, 2025, marking their first full group release in a considerable time. The group is currently in the midst of their world tour, continuing to captivate global audiences with their powerful performances.
aespa Explores a New Sound with "Dirty Work"
aespa continues to showcase their versatility with the release of their latest single album, "Dirty Work," on June 27, 2025. The title track, a hip-hop dance number, sees the group venturing into a new sonic territory, complete with a visually striking music video filmed in a steel plant. The physical album was released in various versions, much to the delight of their dedicated fanbase. The group also recently made a notable international appearance, performing at the prestigious Mawazine Festival in Morocco, further solidifying their global presence.
IVE Continues Global Engagements
I.V. became the first K-pop girl group to take the stage at Lollapalooza Berlin and wowed local fans.
On July 12, I.V. performed a 55-minute solo set at Lollapalooza Berlin, a global music festival held in Berlin, Germany. Despite the rainy weather, a large number of fans gathered to cheer for IVE, and the members performed a number of their hits, including “REBEL HEART,” “Baddie,” and “LOVE DIVE,” to the accompaniment of a live band. Especially during “After LIKE,” fans sang along in Korean, which was very moving for the members.
The members commented, “It was a happy and overwhelming time thanks to the audience's strong support.”
They are also scheduled to perform at Lollapalooza Paris on the 20th in Paris, France.
