Hey, dear community,
yes so the summer break has us badly in the grip and you prefer to be out in nature than indoors at the PC or 3d printer.
And nevertheless I have tried again on a small summer project to have my other hobby, the MTB riding, finally again everything under grip.

ja ja, die Sommerpause hat uns schwer im griff und man ist lieber draußen in der Natur als drinnen am PC oder am 3d Drucker.
Und trotzdem hab ich mich mal wieder an einem kleinen Sommerprojekt versucht, um bei meinem anderen Hobby, dem MTB Fahren, endlich wieder alles im Griff zu haben.
Many who know me know that I am a great lover of Vans shoes, so I took the waffle profile of my Vans as a model for my new bike grips.
Viele, die mich kennen, wissen, dass ich ein großer Liebhaber von Vans Schuhen bin, darum habe ich mir für meine neuen Fahrradgriffe das Waffelprofil meiner Vans zum Vorbild genommen.
In this project, however, it was not the design that was the challenge, but the material. Since normal PLA would of course be a bit too hard and perhaps a bit sharp-edged, I opted here for the much softer TPU.
Unfortunately, TPU is also significantly more expensive (0.5Kg comes to 43€) and also somewhat more difficult to print.
Ultimately, I have decided for the brand NinjaTek, because I have heard from @Druckado, that it is definitely the right thing for me ... I have not regretted it.
In diesem Projekt war nun aber nicht das Design die Herausforderung, sondern das Material, da normales PLA natürlich etwas zu hart und vielleicht etwas scharfkantig wäre, habe ich mich hier für das deutlich weichere TPU entschieden.
Leider ist TPU auch deutlich teurer (0,5Kg kommen auf 43€) und auch etwas schwerer zu drucken.
Letzten Endes habe ich mich für die Marke NinjaTek entschieden, da ich von @Druckado gehört habe, das es auf jeden Fall das richtige für mich sei ... Ich habe es nicht bereut.
As far as the TPU is concerned, I can say that the printing process was quite unspectacular.
The temperature of the Nozzel must be increased to 240 °C, the bed temperature to 70 °C, the speed of the printer is reduced to a ridiculously slow 20 mm/s and it worked without a misprint.
I thought I'd experiment with different infill amounts later, but I'm more than happy with the 20% infill I chose first.
Zum TPU kann ich noch sagen, dass es dann später beim Drucken doch ganz
unspektakulär war.
Die Temperatur der Nozzel muss auf 240 °C, die Betttemperatur auf 70 °C erhöt werden, die Geschwindigkeit des Druckers wir auf lächerlich langsame 20 mm/s gedrosselt und schon lief es ohne einen Fehldruck.
Ich dachte, ich experimentiere später noch mit verschiedenen Infill Mengen, aber ich bin mit den zuerst gewählten 20 % Infill mehr als zufrieden.
So far so good, now I'll swing right back on my bike and continue to enjoy the beautiful weather!
