Ayer sábado atendí la invitación de Marita, una amiga doula que está asistiendo a encuentros de lectura y relectura del libro «Mujeres que corren con los lobos», de la psicoanalista junguiana Clarissa Pínkola Estés (EEUU, 1945).
Es una iniciativa de Mayra, doula y psicoterapeuta Gestalt, que decidió alquilar un espacio para consultas y reunión de la tribu femenina.
Estudié doulaje hace unos siete años en Aquamater, Caracas, con la guía de una sabia maestra psicodoula, sobre esto me extenderé en otra publicación.
Yesterday, Saturday, I attended the invitation of Marita, a doula friend who is attending reading and re-reading meetings of the book "Women who run with the wolves", by the Jungian psychoanalyst Clarissa Pínkola Estés (USA, 1945).
It is an initiative of Mayra, doula and Gestalt psychotherapist, who decided to rent a space for consultations and meetings of the female tribe.
I studied doulation about seven years ago in Aquamater, Caracas, with the guidance of a wise psychodoula teacher, I will expand on this in another publication.

«Mujeres que corren con los lobos» es un libro iniciático que toda mujer debe leer y toda adolescente puede empezar a escuchar de la boca de las más sabias. Está lleno de símbolos para entender nuestra ciclicidad femenina, las etapas, misterios e historias que nos contienen y vamos descubriendo por lo general de forma intuitiva.

Women Who Run with the Wolves is an initiation book that every woman should read and every teenager can begin to listen to from the mouths of the wisest. It is full of symbols to understand our feminine cyclicity, the stages, mysteries and stories that contain us and we generally discover intuitively.

Nos centramos en las tareas 7 y 8 de Vasalisa: La indagación de los misterios y ponerse a gatas.
Son imágenes muy poderosas las que van surgiendo, entre ella una mujer joven que sale del río con las manos viejas cuya misión es infundir Fuego espiritual en docenas de preciosos patos de porcelana. Su segunda misión era darles cuerda con unas llaves de madera insertadas en las plumas del dorso. Cuando se les acababa las cuerda, los patos se caían, se rompían sus cuerpos y entonces ella tenía que abanicar con su delantal a las almas que salían para enviarlas al cielo. Se trata de distintas edades y estados de ánimos de la Mujer Salvaje. La liberación de una lluvia de chispas que llenan el día y crean una luz que nos permite encontrar el camino a través de la noche.
Por otra parte, el poder la calavera iluminada, el no tener miedo a nuestro poder, un ícono femenino. Los huesos son considerados necesarios para la evocación de los espíritus. Se cree que la eterna sabiduría de los ancianos de la comunidad reside en sus huesos después de la muerte. El Yo espiritual habita justo en la ósea catedral de la frente, los ojos son las ventanas y la boca es la puerta, las orejas son los vientos. La calavera iluminada es una sabia ancestral. Nos inicia en un legado intacto y floreciente en las cuevas y «los desfiladeros de la psique».

We focus on Vasalisa tasks 7 and 8:
The investigation of the mysteries and getting on all fours.
There are very powerful images that emerge, including a young woman coming out of the river with old hands whose mission is to infuse spiritual Fire into dozens of beautiful porcelain ducks. Their second mission was to wind them with wooden keys inserted into the feathers on their backs. When the rope ran out, the ducks fell, their bodies broke and then she had to fan the souls that came out with her apron to send them to heaven. These are different ages and moods of the Wild Woman. The release of a shower of sparks that fill the day and create a light that allows us to find our way through the night.
On the other hand, the power of the illuminated skull, not being afraid of our power, a feminine icon. Bones are considered necessary for the evocation of spirits. It is believed that the eternal wisdom of the elders of the community resides in their bones after death. The spiritual Self lives right in the bony cathedral of the forehead, the eyes are the windows and the mouth is the door, the ears are the winds. The illuminated skull is an ancient wisdom. It initiates us into an intact and flourishing legacy in the caves and "the gorges of the psyche."

A propósito de los huesos, saltó un poema para interpelarme, lo escribí hace años y está en mi libro Urgente, publicado en 2020 por la Editorial Eclepsidra. Surgió a partir de una afirmación en clase de anatomía mientras estudiaba Terapia corporal, dijo la fisioterapeuta: Los huesos son palancas para el equilibrio. Tomé esto como epígrafe y escribí un texto que pide ser revelado ahora.
Las mujeres debemos andar en tribu, agradezco a cada una por estar desde el sentir que nos une.
Mujeres de Hive, recomiendo que compren el libro en cuanto lo vean y corramos juntas.
Regarding the bones, a poem came out to question me, I wrote them years ago and it is in my book Urgente, published in 2020 by Editorial Eclepsidra. "It arose from a statement in anatomy class while studying Body Therapy, the physical therapist said: Bones are levers for balance." I took this as an epigraph and wrote a text that asks to be revealed now.
Women must walk in a tribe, I thank each one for being there from the feeling that unites us.
