Advanced technology is a very great deal, I mean, imagine the level of ease accompanied by working from home, just with the comfort of a smart device, there is a great chance of working with a company in a far location, the importance of technology is numerous, but as numerous as it is, there are associated downsides to the use of technology and those are the points I will be highlighting through this post.

Social Isolation: Have you been in a social gathering where everyone is on their phones, these social gatherings are meant to help us bond properly and appropriately, make friends meaningfully, but rather than appropriately discussing, more time is spent on social media, playing games or randomly surfing the internet, completely ignoring the need to have proper communication and appropriate bonding session.
Distraction to students: We will agree that, a lot of students find it more convenient to spend appropriate time on social media, chatting with friends, rather than studying. The performance of the student has drastically dropped, instead of having super intelligent students who can handle projects appropriately, we now have students who just copy answers to projects on the internet.

Loss of jobs: With the high level of improved sophisticated machines and robots who can carry out human task even more efficiently, more people have lost their jobs. So many companies/establishments, now have sophisticated and improved machines that they do not have to pay monthly allowance to and who would never ask for a salary raise or complain about excessive work load, these companies will simply go for it, without stress. While this act is a favorable one for companies, it serves as a disadvantage to humans who need the job.
Procrastination: Social media and the interesting activities on the internet can make people procrastinate on the important things they need to do and through procrastination, failure is certain.
Once again, technology is not a bad thing, after all, I can only produce content and publicize it here as a result of advance in technology, but we must also not ignore the downsides of technology and then improve to appropriately correct them, which to me is a personal decision anyway.
