Dear Santa, I am writing you my three wishes for 2022! / Contest #61

Querido Santa te escribo esta carta con la misma ilusión cuando era una niña. Saber que recibirás esta carta me hace sentir muy feliz porque sé que el universo enviará sus buenas energías para convertir en realidad los deseos que plamaré aquí.


Este año que está por terminar ha sido un tiempo maravilloso donde he tenido la fortuna de recibir mucho amor y cariño de mis seres queridos. Siempre hemos tenido un plato de comida en nuestra mesa y a veces ha alcanzado para compartir con los que menos tienen. Por eso para mí no pediré nada ya que estoy inmensamente agradecida por todas las experiencias vividas en este año a nivel laboral, familiar y aquí en esta gran comunidad. En esta carta te escribo tres de mis grandes anhelos para el 2022, por eso espero querido Santa, que puedas conducirlas con tu mágica energía hasta lo más profundo del universo para verlas cumplirse en los seres que más amo.

My first wish is for my family. For them, I only ask for abundant health, since that is enough to achieve all the other things. I want you to bring them a protective cloak against any danger. A cloak that will make them invisible to any circumstance that may cause them harm. If you can, may it be a cloak full of love, because this feeling is capable of overcoming any difficulty that may come their way. I hope this wish is extended to all of you who read me and to each of the members of your family.

Mi primer deseo es para mi familia. Para ellos solo pido abundante salud, ya que con eso es suficiente para lograr todas las demás cosas. Quiero que les traigas una capa protectora frente a cualquier peligro. Una capa que los haga invisibles ante alguna circunstancia que les pueda causar daño. Si puedes que sea una capa llena de mucho amor ya que este sentimiento es capaz de superar cualquier dificultad que se les anteponga. Espero que este deseo se haga extensivo para todos ustedes que me leen y para cada uno de los miembros de su familia.

My second wish is for my son's godmothers. For her, I wish for much hope and happiness, that she will be able to restore every bit of her life to a free version of herself. I want you to send her a shower of stars to illuminate her path so that she can find fulfillment in this new path that she will embark on in 2022. My greatest wish is to see her laughing, being confident, and enjoying the tranquility that she deserves for being a woman of great strength and courage. She has given me great life lessons during this time, and that is why I want you to bring her a golden thread so that she can close her wounds and enjoy the second chance that life has given her.

Mi segundo deseo es para mi comadre. Para ella anhelo mucha esperanza y felicidad, que logre restablecer cada pedacito de su vida hasta lograr una versión libre de sí misma. Quiero que le envíes una lluvia de estrellas que ilumine su sendero para que así encuentre la plenitud en ese nuevo camino que ha de emprender en el 2022. Mi deseo más grande es verla reír, segura de sí y disfrutando de la tranquilidad que bien se merece por ser una mujer de mucha fortaleza y valentía. Ella me ha dado grandes lecciones de vida en este tiempo por eso quiero que le traigas un hilo dorado para que pueda cerrar sus heridas y disfrutar de la segunda oportunidad que la vida le ha dado.

Last but not least, my third wish goes to my beloved Venezuela. For my beloved country, I wish to see it full of hope, that prosperity may be reborn in it so that thousands of Venezuelans may return to live under its shelter. For Venezuela, I ask for unity and justice so that we can grow as a society that has faith in a better future and be reborn from the ashes stronger than ever. I hope that 2022 will be the year where many families can reconnect, and our youth will have the illusion of being prosperous and useful in this beautiful country.

My dear Santa, I know that many of these wishes have to be fulfilled in the time that the universe conspires for this to happen. My best Christmas present is to dream that it can come true.

Por último pero no menos importante, mi tercer deseo va dirigido a mi querida Venezuela. Para mi amado país deseo verlo lleno de esperanza, que renazca en él la prosperidad para que así miles de venezolanos puedan regresar a vivir bajo su cobijo. Para Venezuela te pido mucha unión y justicia para poder crecer como una sociedad que tiene fe en un futuro mejor y renacer entre las cenizas más fuertes que nunca. Espero que este 2022 sea el año donde muchas familias puedan reencontarse y nuestra juventud tenga ilusión de verse prósperos y útiles en este hermoso país.


Mi querido Santa, yo sé que muchos de estos deseos han de cumplirse en el tiempo que el universo conspire para que esto suceda, por eso mi mejor regalo de navidad es soñar que puedan hacerse realidad
