Sunshine and smiles, Hivers! I'm back again for another mew blog post! Today, I'm excited to share to you all my pamper day! Let's dive right in!
Recently, my health spa and wellness professor told us that our final project is experiencing a spa massage and foot spa. As a busy and stressed college girl student, I was thrilled to experience the final project that my professor given to us because we can finally unwind for a bit.
I started my day at Stylin Look Salon, where they offer foot spa services. My professor recommended this salon because it is owned by one of her colleagues, and she wanted us to provide feedback about our experiences there.
As I soak my feet in the warm water, I must say it feels absolutely amazing. I was really able to relax in this cozy salon, and the staff members were all so friendly. They added a foot soak to the water, making me to feel the mint on my feet. The mint helps to soothe my feet and also it helps to softening the calluses.
In the photo, you can see one of the staff members who was assigned for my foot spa. She began by washing my feet, then used a foot file on my calluses. After that, she applied foot lotion and gave my feet a massage.The foot massage she gives me is my favorite. It helps relieve the soreness in my feet from walking every day. At that moment, I felt incredibly relaxed, although I occasionally got tickled whenever she scrubbed my feet or gently touched my toes. The foot spa lasted about 30 minutes.
Following the foot spa, I moved on to get a pedicure. The color I choose is pastel pink since pink is one of my favorite colors, and my friend told me that pink looks great on my feet. The service that I avail to them is a foot spa along with a pedicure.At that time, the staff member began to clean my toenails. I asked her not to push on the ingrown area of my toenails because I was worried she might cause an wound there. The person doing my pedicure was quite talkative, and I enjoyed talking with her.
My friends also are here in the salon, and they also got foot spas and pedicures. One of our friends decided to get a haircut because she wanted to try a new look.
After the pedicure, I waited for my manicure to dry so I could put my shoes back on. I also waited for my friends to finish their sessions.
Next, we decided to head to a spa to enjoy some massages. We chose Samsarogya Massage Spa because it’s budget-friendly, and they offer discounts to those customers who will refer their Spa to other people. Plus, if you visit between 10 AM and 3 PM, you can get a 20% discount on their services. The Spa Massage is located in Estaca Compostela, Cebu.
While I waited in the lobby, my friends were the first one catered and do their massages. I choose for a Swedish massage, which involves long, gentle strokes designed to relax both muscles and the body. It utilizes various techniques during the massage.
Here’s a photo of me post-massage. My skin feels oily, and while I’m relaxed, my body is also a bit sore from the firm yet gentle pressure my therapist applied. I paid 280 pesos for this massage after the discount was applied.
During my massage, the room is incredibly calming due to the music that helps soothe my mind and nerves. The song resembles a traditional Chinese melody featuring chimes and various instruments, accompanied by the sound of flowing water. The therapist who gave me the massage has experience in Swedish massage and has also worked in Dubai before, which means she had a full knowledge in massage.
After the massage, I headed to Jollibee because I was starving. I ordered a meal for myself and another for my brother, who was at home. We only had to wait a few minutes for our order to be prepared.
Finally, my friend and I went home and called it a day.
And that's the end of my blog, hivers! This day of leisure is a great way for me to unwind since being a college student can be quite overwhelming, and I need moments to relax and clear my head.
As a women, it's important for us to prioritize self-care and set a time for a pampering day. It serves as a way for us to calm our self and relax, and every woman deserves to have a pamper day. I really love to experience this form of leisure once more😍❤️
