Good day, amazing people of the Hive blockchain, happy new week! Welcome back to my blog; this is another edition in the #ladiesofhive community. Everyone has something that they'd like to change about themselves. It might be a physical thing, a character trait or anything at all. What is the ONE thing you would choose to change about yourself and why?
Seeing this week's prompts, I don't just need to overthink because there are a lot of traits I want to change about myself. The truth is this character trait is really affecting me. People will say this young lady is always talking about procrastination. This is one character trait that is really affecting me. I have really done my possible best to stop this act, but I realise that is not something I can do on my own.

Seriously, if I am asked to make a wish that the universe will grant, it will be for the universe to take away procrastination from me. This has been my greatest disease of all time; no matter how I try to stop procrastinating, I still see myself in the act. I have lost many opportunities due to the fact I always procrastinate things. I have also put myself in a tight corner due to procrastination.
When you hear of a chronic procrastinator, I think I should be given an award. I am not happy that I procrastinate on things, but I see myself doing it. I remember back then my dad would always tell me this act of I will that you are developing will really affect you in time to come, but I didn’t listen to him.
Last month I nearly lost my job due to procrastination. There is this deal that my organisation has been pushing for six months, and I happened to be the head of the team. My teammates have done their own part; as the head of the team, I need to come up with a good presentation. Anytime I come to work, I will always tell myself there is still time for me to prepare for the presentation I keep procrastinating on.
When it was a few days to the presentation, that was when I realised I had to sit up, and I worked day and night sourcingmaterials online. I was so stressed out and anxious because the deadline was so close and I had to come up with something.
Thanks to God, I was able to come up with my presentation, but the quality of my work is so low. My boss was so disappointed when I was presenting to our client. I was not confident; I kept stammering because I didn’t prepare myself. I was able to secure that deal for my company because the client is my brother's best friend.
Procrastination is one character trait I would love to change. If I were to make a wish, it would surely be to end procrastination. I have missed many opportunities; most times I have to overwork myself because I failed to discharge my duty on time, all because I procrastinate on things.
Everyone has a character trait that they would like to change. For me, it is procrastination. If I am able to change this negative character of mine, I will be the happiest person.
