As you may know the first day of every month is set for a special pupose and that is to power up. I am powering up my account every month on that day. It is called #hivepowerupday. On this day hive users powerup means stake hive tokens with their accounts.

Hive power is very important in many ways. It increases RC which is necessary for a user to post, comment and do any type of transaction on blockchain. In addition to it one also get increased curation reward and interest with increased #hive power.
