¡Hola queridas Damas de Hive! Espero que se encuentren todas muy bien. Siempre me pasó por acá para participar de las preguntas semanales, pero en esta ocasión también lo hago por invitación de mi amiga @naath. Las interrogantes de la semana corresponden a @marivic10 con temas más que importantes para nuestra salud. Bueno, empecemos.
Estamos en el mes Rosa, un mes en el que debemos reflexionar sobre el autocuidado para afrontar una de las peores enfermedades del mundo: el cáncer de mama. Cuéntanos cómo te cuidas. ¿Mantienes tus exámenes preventivos al día? ¿Qué opinas de esta enfermedad?
Sin dudas, esta es una de las enfermedades más comunes en la mujer y por ello debemos prestarle especial atención a nuestros cuidados. Por suerte, agarrado a tiempo también es un tipo de cáncer con mayor porcentaje de curación, así que es importante acudir a los controles, sobre todo si estás en la edad donde se suele despertar o tenés antecedentes familiares de esta enfermedad. En mi caso, gracias a Dios, no hubo casos de cáncer de mamá en la familia. Ni tampoco me tocó vivirlo con personas cercanas a mí.
Recientemente supe de una vecina que se encontró unos bultos en sus mamas y se dejó estar por miedo, la operaron y está haciendo quimioterapia y rayos para terminar de limpiar todo. Ojalá logré reponerse. También supe de otros casos donde lograron recuperarse por completo y ya llevan más de 10 años "limpias". Así que este es un mensaje de tranquilidad, es un cáncer frecuente, pero con los cuidados adecuados se puede sobrellevar.
Yo siempre suelo palpar mis mamas y estar atenta a cualquier cosa rara que encuentre, al no tener antecedentes y todavía estar en una edad joven no requiero de mamografías anuales, pero de todos modos estoy atenta porque es algo que podría pasar a cualquier edad en sí. Lo importante es no entrar en pánico ni sugestionarse y si sienten algo que les hace dudar háganse un chequeo que es mejor prevenir que lamentar luego. Este es otro acto de amor propio. Si estas pasando por esta enfermedad o tenes familiares que lo estén atravesando, te mando un abrazo y mis bendiciones para una pronta recuperación.

En la vida tenemos días buenos y días no tan buenos, creo que en un día no muy bueno, comer algo especial —un plato típico, un postre, una rica merienda— logra levantar esos ánimos. Me encantaría que compartieras una receta de ese platillo maravilloso que te hace regresar la alegría y mejora tu día.
Hay una comida que es como un postre y me remite a mi infancia por lo que me hace sentir mejor cuando lo como por ese sentimiento de tiempos felices. Es algo simple, no requiere cocinar ni nada. Es agarrar un pan, cortarlo al medio y untar una capa de manteca, luego otra de dulce de leche y, por último, solo si se desea, agregar un poco de azúcar y listo. Manjar de dioses y muy económico. Era un postre que solía hacernos mi papá cuando no teníamos dinero para otra cosa, pero éramos felices con ello y eso es lo importante. Comerlo me trae nostalgia y al mismo tiempo alegría.

Hello dear Ladies of Hive! I hope you are all doing well. I always stop by to participate in the weekly questions, but this time I also do it at the invitation of my friend @naath. This week's questions correspond to @marivic10 with more than important topics for our health. Well, let's get started.
We are in Pink month, a month in which we must reflect on self-care to face one of the worst diseases in the world — breast cancer. Tell us how you take care of yourself. Do you keep your preventive exams up to date? What do you think about this disease?
Undoubtedly, this is one of the most common diseases in women and that is why we must pay special attention to our care. Fortunately, caught in time it is also a type of cancer with a higher percentage of cure, so it is important to go for check-ups, especially if you are at the age where it usually awakens or if you have a family history of this disease. In my case, thank God, there were no cases of maternal cancer in my family. Nor did I have to experience it with people close to me.
Recently I heard about a neighbor who found some lumps in her breasts and she let herself be out of fear, she had surgery and is undergoing chemotherapy and rays to finish cleaning everything up. Hopefully she will be able to recover. I also heard of other cases where they managed to recover completely and have been “clean” for more than 10 years. So this is a message of tranquility, it is a frequent cancer, but with proper care it can be overcome.
I always palpate my breasts and pay attention to anything unusual I find, as I have no history and I am still at a young age I do not require annual mammograms, but anyway I am attentive because it is something that could happen at any age. The important thing is not to panic and not to be suggestible and if you feel something that makes you doubt, go for a check-up, it is better to be safe than sorry later. This is another act of self-love. If you are going through this disease or have family members who are going through it, I send you a hug and my blessings for a speedy recovery.

In life, we have good days and not-so-good days, I think that on a not-very-good day, eating something special — a typical dish, a dessert, a delicious snack — manages to raise those spirits, I would love for you to share a recipe for that wonderful dish that makes the joy return and makes your day better.
There is a food that is like a dessert and it takes me back to my childhood so it makes me feel better when I eat it because of that feeling of happy times. It's something simple, it doesn't require cooking or anything. Just take a loaf of bread, cut it in the middle and spread a layer of butter, then another layer of dulce de leche and finally, if you want, add a little sugar and that's it. A delicacy of gods and very economical. It was a dessert my dad used to make for us when we had no money for anything else, but we were happy with it and that is what is important. Eating it brings me nostalgia and at the same time joy.
