If you started all over again, what kind of career would you like or want?
Today I will be answering some questions from the ladies of hive contest 8 challenge and I believe these questions will be an eye-opener for anyone who wishes to know a thing or two about me.
I am a graduate of biochemist but I deviate into the field of primary education. Today I am a proprietress and also a teacher of a primary school dedicated to nurture and groom young minds with academic excellence. I do love my profession as a teacher because being around children and educating them isn't just a job to me but something that's an essential part of my life right now and I feel blessed every day doing my job which is also a hobby to me too.
But if I am allowed to start all over and choose a different profession I will love to study medicine in school and become a practicing medical doctor in my country
Why I would love to be a medical doctor?
Over here in my country (Nigeria), it seems that every doctor wants out especially the young ones. There is a great number of Nigerian doctors migrating abroad to counties such as the USA, Canada and the U.K because of the better pay and overall treatment the government offers to medical practitioners, and also there is the availability of good health facilities which enables doctors to do their job easily abroad.
I can't blame doctors for wanting a better life for that's the utmost desire of everyone on earth but the effect of their migration have a down effect over here as the number of doctors keeps depreciating compared to the numbers of patients requiring medical attention.
Lives are being lost today in Nigeria due to doctor's scarcity especially in government hospitals because patients in severe health conditions may not be offered the needed medical attention on time. So I would have loved to be a medical doctor to be of service to the medical unit in my country.
What flower would best represent you? And why?
If I am to be a flower then I will be a morning glory- the flower that rise/spring forth in the morning and fades as the day goes by because I am a morning person and I love doing my tasks during the early hours of the day. And my evenings are my best hours for relaxation after a day of work.
