I'm always at home, but I want to spend more time outside.
Hi everyone, over the last year, I've been more in this mode of barely going out and just doing various things around my house, something I used to do for a few months at most, sort of a season. This is mostly due to episodes where I felt insecure or let myself get emotionally affected, and after that time, I would go outdoors and do various activities or get a job, and this became a cycle of being outside for a while and then back to the cave consecutively. All of this, also partly in a solitary way.
And as I said, being at home has become much more prolonged lately. Indeed, it has been partly due to letting myself get emotionally affected and a sudden increase in my social anxiety, which I've been gradually working on, and also to positive and negative external factors that have made even leaving my house on my own for a day a challenge.
To begin with, social anxiety is something I've always had, although because I could control it, it barely affected me. As long as I was constantly on the move, it wouldn't increase, which allowed me to function well during my school years and a good portion of my in-person jobs. It's like I could camouflage it well, and of course, at the same time, I had a fairly balanced lifestyle between going out and being at home, so I was pretty well and calm.
The thing is, we often stay home, not by choice; I'm certainly one of those who enjoys being quiet watching a series and spending time with my cats in my room or writing, but there are factors that have made my time here the long one, and these are, on the one hand, something that used to happen when I was a child or teenager, which has resurfaced. You see, my parents are people with a culture of rarely being outside.
What for many is a walk or sitting in a plaza enjoying the day, for them is simply not something they accept, so going out is limited for me and my sister, even having a schedule to be at home. This is especially true for my sister and me, something that for a good few years had been almost eliminated, but has returned and made it difficult for me to go out without receiving some kind of reprimand.
So I tend to be self-conscious and plan well before making any plans, although that also doesn't affect various activities that may arise and which, well, accompanied by my mom, go without a hitch. But I try not to let that affect me, so I focus a lot of my attention on being with my pets, who are always by my side. Keeping an eye on their growth since they were babies is something I love, since they are currently 11 months old and are huge, and giving them the love they deserve is part of my daily routine.
And I dedicate another part of my time to writing about various topics, which has really helped me relax and unwind. Spending time with friends online and even laughing in small group chats while sharing ideas has become part of my favorite activities, as it makes me feel like I'm interacting a lot. Being on the computer, keeping my mind active by talking, designing, and creating, has become part of my routine.
And I definitely want to get out and return to my old routine, as I even plan to add taking photos and videos of places, exploring the surroundings, and other places, which has been difficult for me, but I'm still working on it, looking for activities to attend, and being able to regain that balance.

Hola a todos, en el último año he estado más en esta modalidad de casi no salir y mantenerme haciendo varias cosas en mi casa, algo que a lo mucho solía hacer por algunos meses, algo así como una temporada. Esta es más que nada debido a episodios en los que me sentía insegura o me dejaba afectar emocionalmente y luego de ese tiempo salía al aire libre y desempeñaba varias actividades o conseguía algún trabajo, y esto se volvía un ciclo de estar afuera un tiempo y luego de vuelta a la cueva de manera consecutiva. Todo esto también en parte de una manera solitaria.
Y como ya dije, este último tiempo el estar en casa se ha vuelto mucho más prolongado . En efecto, sí ha sido en una parte debido a el dejarme afectar emocionalmente y un repentino aumento de mi ansiedad social, lo cual poco a poco he estado trabajando, y también a factores externos positivos y negativos que han hecho que salir de mi casa un día por mi propia cuenta incluso se vuelva todo un reto.
Para empezar, la ansiedad social es algo que siempre he tenido, aunque como podía controlarla, no solía afectarme casi; mientras estuviera en constante movimiento, esta no crecería, lo que me permitió desenvolverme bien en mis temporadas escolares y en una buena parte de mis trabajos presenciales. Es como que podía camuflarla bien y, claro, a la par llevaba un estilo bastante equilibrado con el salir y estar en casa, por lo que estaba bastante bien y tranquila.
La cosa es que muchas veces nos quedamos en casa no por una elección; ciertamente soy de las que disfruto estar tranquila viendo alguna serie y estando con mis gatos en mi habitación o escribiendo, pero hay factores que han hecho que mi temporada sea la larga y estas son, por una parte, algo que solía pasar cuando era niña o adolescente, el cual ha vuelto a resurgir, pues verán , mis padres son personas con una cultura de estar poco afuera
Y es que lo que para muchos es un paseo o estar sentados en una plaza disfrutando el día, para ellos simplemente no es algo que acepten, por lo que el salir es algo limitado para mí y mi hermana, teniendo incluso un horario para estar en casa, y esto más que todo para mi hermana y para mí, cosa que por unos buenos años se había casi eliminado, pero ha vuelto y ha hecho complicado para mí salir y no recibir algún tipo de reprimenda.
Por lo que suelo cohibirme y planear bien antes de hacer algún plan, aunque eso igualmente no afecta a diversas actividades que puedan surgir y que, bueno, acompañadas de mi mamá, se dan sin problemas, pero eso trato de que no me afecte, por lo que concentro mi atención gran parte en estar con mis mascotas, las cuales siempre están a mi lado, y al estar pendiente de su crecimiento desde bebés es algo que amo, ya que actualmente tienen 11 meses y están enormes, y forman parte de mi día a día darles el cariño que merecen.
Y otra parte la dedico a estar redactando sobre diversos temas, lo cual me ha ayudado mucho a liberar y desenvolverme. Convivir con amigos a través de las redes e incluso reírnos en pequeñas reuniones en llamadas mientras compartimos ideas se ha vuelto parte de mis actividades favoritas, ya que me hacen sentir que interactúo mucho; por lo que están en la computadora, manteniendo activa mi mente hablando, diseñando y creando, se ha vuelto parte de mi rutina.
Y es que, sin duda, sí quiero salir y volver a mi anterior rutina, ya que planeo incluso agregar el tomar fotos y videos de lugares, explorar los entornos y demás lugares, cosa que se me ha complicado, pero aún sigo trabajando en eso, viendo actividades para asistir y poder tener ese equilibrio de nuevo.
Y bueno, este es mi aporte para el tema propuesto esta semana por @elizabethbit, el cual espero les guste y puedan dar su pequeña opinión.
