At first, I don't plan to buy a feeding chair for my son for two reasons. One, I find it expensive, and two, he will just outgrow it. Thus, remember this blog where I mentioned him having rashes like insect bites? After days, finally figured out that it was insect bites. Since I feed him while he is in his walker, it couldn't be avoided food mess. I do clean, but particles go inside gaps. Unfortunately, it attracts tiny ants. It was small and couldn't be seen easily. My poor Caleb has been enduring it for weeks 😒.
That made me decide to purchase as aside from that, one of my concerns is that he might get used to wandering around while eating and me chasing him to feed. After browsing and carefully checking the specs and reading reviews, place an order in this shop at Shopee.
After almost a week, the parcel was delivered to my doorstep.
I opened the box excitedly and planned to assemble it so Caleb could use it while we were having dinner.
Thus, seeing the parts made me doubt myself if I could. What if I did it wrongly and caused an accident to my son?
So, I chatted with my brother-in-law for help. However, they are busy preparing the tarpaulin for a particular party list.
They always assist me, but knowing they were busy, I no longer want to trouble them.
**I am a strong, independent woman; I can do it and am trying to convince myself.
Thankful, there is a quick yet detailed guide, and all parts were labeled correctly.
After inspecting and familiarizing myself, I assembled based on the picture.
- Attached the legs are attached to the seat pads.
Oh, didn't expect it was that easy, but wait!
It was supposed to be the upper legs only, not to connect both, lol!
Here comes Caleb, in his nosey era, who wanted to be involved.
I was figuring it out, and yet he helped snatch it from me! As if he could do it better!
Thankfully, my senses were active as I made it, less the wheels. I find it more complicated, so I will ask my brother-in-law for assistance.
He loves it, right? I also find it easier to feed him as he can't walk away.
This much easier to clean this the dining tray is removable.
Not only that, but we could eat together, as he loves to dine with me. Maybe he thought my food was more tasty than his.
Speaking of, I was slowly introducing steamed veggies and the face when I fed him lady finger earlier.
If only he could talk, perhaps he object 🤣.
Caleb's POV:
When Mama feeds you food you don't like but says it's healthy.
He is slowly losing his chubbiness,' and his features are defining. Looks like he got the eyes from me, but OH NO! NOT the NOSE, PLEASE! 🤣
