For this week's entry prompt, we have:
What is the most dominant color in your wardrobe/closet? Was it a conscious choice, or did it just turn out that way over time? Feel free to give us a sneak peek!
Designed by me
A dominant colour i have in my wardrobe is Black. I have been quite vocal about my love for the black colour and i often refer to it as a happy colour. I believe that black is a statement and not just colour.
One time, i listened to this audio that said wearing balck meant not to be played with (i agree ) and already dressed for the person's funeral and well, i think its important to point out the notion behind wearing black for bad events and i really do not like that. I personally think that as much as colours are associated to feelings, black is above it all and should not be boxed. You can wear the black colour to school, events and even your wedding. An all black wedding wouldn't be so bad, hahaha.
For one thing, i have always loved the black colour from childhood. Actually, my mom bought a lot of pink stuff for me as a child but as soon as i grew to the point of choosing, i will always pick the black colour in shoes, bags and clothes. To the point of wearing black on black on black.
For one thing, choosing black saved me the stress of picking and matching colours and for one thing, i can be quite indecisive over trivial things. So, i chose the easy way out which is Black but as time went on, i hrew to love the colour black and its ability to be anything you want it to be making you blend in and still stand out.
My love for the black colour infact became a problem to the people around me bringing up comments about it woth some asking why o eould always wear black and others assuming that it is because of my choice of career and that i have no choice but to love the colour, black. But that is not so. Black is my favourite colour, a happy colour.
