De esto estaré hablando en el post de hoy, respondiendo a la pregunta de nuestra amiga @joanstewart. Building a strong foundation in technical skills can be a game-changer in life. What are your thoughts on how technology may open doors to new opportunities not offered previously? Are you utilizing new technology where you live? How have you implemented technology into your daily skills?
El mundo ha ido evolucionando desde la llegada del internet y desde allí todos hemos podido aprender de manera más didáctica los diferentes temas que nos parecen interesantes o incluso que llegamos a estudiar en la escuela o la universidad. Esto ha logrado que la información sea mucho más fácil de encontrar y que más personas tengan acceso a datos que para otra época era más difícil de buscar o al menos había que entregarse de lleno a las bibliotecas y a los libros para poder aprender y conseguir información importante de cualquier ámbito.
The world has been evolving since the advent of the internet and from there we have all been able to learn in a more didactic way the different topics that we find interesting or even that we got to study in school or college. This has made information much easier to find and more people have access to data that in other times was more difficult to find or at least we had to go to libraries and books to learn and get important information in any field.
Hoy en día los jóvenes tienen muchas más opciones para educarse y poder aprender de todos los temas que existen en internet, sobre todo con la llegada de la inteligencia artificial que aunque tiene sus pros y sus contras, se debe tener en cuenta que funciona para buscar información de forma rápida y sencilla, aunque nada va a ser igual que hacer la búsqueda desde internet y analizar por nosotros mismos lo que es realmente importante de lo que queremos aprender. En este caso la IA no es tan eficaz como el cerebro humano, que es capaz de analizar y de aprender nuevas cosas de manera que una aplicación nunca podría reemplazar la inteligencia humana.
Nowadays young people have many more options to educate themselves and be able to learn about all the topics that exist on the internet, especially with the arrival of artificial intelligence that although it has its pros and cons, it must be taken into account that it works to search for information quickly and easily, although nothing will be the same as doing the search from the internet and analyze for ourselves what is really important of what we want to learn. In this case AI is not as effective as the human brain, which is capable of analyzing and learning new things in a way that an application could never replace human intelligence.
Sin embargo, el internet aunque tiene su lado no tan positivo, también aporta mucha información de interés y que nos puede guiar a aprender y a mantenernos informados si sabemos darle el uso adecuado. Una de las cosas que me parece más increíble es poder encontrar libros digitales que podrían ser mucho más costosos en físico y que este a nuestro alcance para leerlo en cualquier momento es algo que veo como positivo de estos tiempos donde el internet cada día abarca más nuestras vidas. Aunque cada autor merece su reconocimiento por su trabajo, poder tener libros que nos llenen de conocimientos solo con buscarlos por la red es una de las ventajas del internet.
However, although the internet has its not so positive side, it also provides a lot of interesting information that can guide us to learn and keep us informed if we know how to use it properly. One of the things that I find most incredible is to be able to find digital books that could be much more expensive in physical and that is within our reach to read at any time is something that I see as positive in these times where the internet every day covers more and more our lives. Although each author deserves recognition for his work, being able to have books that fill us with knowledge just by looking for them on the net is one of the advantages of the internet.
Realmente hoy en día hay muchas más oportunidades de aprender a través de internet, hay cursos gratuitos, videos de YouTube, páginas donde podemos encontrar la información que queramos aprender. Una de las cosas que he aprendido es que puedo mejorar mi calidad de vida aprendiendo sobre temas de psicología que siempre me han apasionado, además de aprender puedo entender muchas cosas que antes parecían no tener un nombre y me ayuda a mejorar mi forma de ver la vida y de verme como ser humano también. No es un reemplazo de un profesional de la salud, pero ayuda mucho poder entender temas que antes eran tabú y que hoy en día se le da más visibilidad como lo es la salud mental.
Actually nowadays there are many more opportunities to learn through the internet, there are free courses, YouTube videos, pages where we can find the information we want to learn. One of the things I have learned is that I can improve my quality of life by learning about psychology topics that I have always been passionate about, besides learning I can understand many things that before seemed to not have a name and it helps me to improve my way of seeing life and to see myself as a human being as well. It is not a replacement for a health professional, but it helps a lot to be able to understand topics that were taboo before and that nowadays are given more visibility such as mental health.
También he encontrado cursos que me han gustado, el año pasado logré terminar un curso de farmacia donde llegué sin ningún tipo de conocimientos, pero la experiencia me ayudó a poder conectar con otros y a aprender algo nuevo donde a pesar de lo poco que sabía logré entender muchos temas sobre la parte de la salud he incluso logré trabajar en esta área, fue una experiencia gratificante que me ayudó a conocer nuevas personas y a aprender algo que no estaba dentro de mi lista de cosas que me gustaría hacer pero que me llenó de aprendizajes y me permitió darme la confianza de estar de nuevo estudiando junto a otros compañeros.
I have also found courses that I liked, last year I managed to finish a pharmacy course where I arrived without any knowledge, but the experience helped me to be able to connect with others and learn something new where despite the little I knew I managed to understand many topics about the health part and even managed to work in this area, it was a rewarding experience that helped me meet new people and learn something that was not within my list of things I would like to do but that filled me with learning and allowed me to give me the confidence to be again studying alongside other classmates.
En el día a día también me gusta poder utilizar la información que voy aprendiendo para sentirme más útil, me gusta que pueda empezar a llenarme de conocimientos sobre temas que me apasionan cómo la escritura, los libros, el arte, el cine. Todo esto me ha ayudado en el camino que llevo recorrido aquí en Hive y también a ampliar mi horizonte en cuanto a las cosas que me llaman la atención. Hace poco estuve empezando un curso de Excel que es básico para poder desempeñar un rol dentro de cualquier trabajo o empresa, aun me falta mucho por aprender pero lo que he logrado me llenó de expectativas positivas y me siento más capaz de lograr otras cosas.
On a day to day basis I also like to be able to use the information I learn to feel more useful, I like that I can start to fill myself with knowledge about subjects that I am passionate about such as writing, books, art, cinema. All of this has helped me on my journey here at Hive and also to broaden my horizon in terms of things that catch my attention. Recently I was starting an Excel course which is basic to be able to play a role in any job or company, I still have a lot to learn but what I have achieved has filled me with positive expectations and I feel more capable of achieving other things.
Pienso que nunca se deja de aprender mientras se tenga vida y ganas de conocer nuevos temas. El internet es muy bueno cuando se le da el tiempo y el uso que debería tener, hay infinidad de información importante sobre cualquier ámbito, existen muchas aplicaciones que también ayudan a aprender en temas como los idiomas, la escritura, la salud y que son entretenidos. A mí me gusta poder ver YouTube y descubrir canales que tengan información importante, me gusta poder llegar a descubrir nuevas páginas o personas que realmente hacen del internet un lugar donde se puede aprender algo nuevo cada día sin importar de donde seas, la edad que tengas y las capacidades que poses.
I think you never stop learning as long as you have life and desire to learn new topics. The internet is very good when you give it the time and the use it should have, there is plenty of important information about any field, there are many applications that also help to learn in areas such as languages, writing, health and that are entertaining. I like to be able to watch YouTube and discover channels that have important information, I like to be able to discover new pages or people that really make the internet a place where you can learn something new every day no matter where you are from, how old you are and the capabilities you have.
