Greetings, my fellow ladies. The holiday season is already upon us, and most people have already begun the preparations, from decorations to shopping for materials needed for the season, to travel preparations, to stocking the house with food items, and lots more..., all for the season. This week, the theme of the ladies of the hive community contest is Christmas-related, and I will love to attend question 2 below.
If you had one magical wish for Christmas or the holiday season, what would that be?
I have a magical wish for humanity, but before I talk about that, I will love to mention that my number one wish is for God to restore the health of my son and grant him permanent healing. I will love to enjoy the holiday without thinking of any possible emergency situation involving his health. I will love to experience this inner peace šļø knowing that all is well with my son, and I wouldn't be spending the holidays moving up and down from one MRI of the brain scan to an EEG diagnosis, and to other treatments as instructed by his doctor during our routine check up yesterday at the clinic. Reflecting on what the doctor said yesterday, I feel that my holiday plans may not go as previously planned, and I wouldn't want such for my son, and my family. I wish that God will magically grant him divine healing and restore joy and peace for the lives of my family and me .
Then for humanity..
I had a knock at my door some days ago, and behold, they were grown-up children from a poor family asking for raw food for them to cook in their home and eat. Looking at them, you will notice how unhealthy they are. I could feel their hunger only by looking at them. It's good that they didn't choose to steal, but to beg. However, there are many of them in our community who cannot afford to feed well anymore, and it's becoming harder as the day passes by due to the current hard time in my country. People are struggling to feed themselves, and food is becoming like gold to afford, especially Rice, which is one common food used for Christmas celebrations in my country, On this note, I wish to turn into a millionaire overnight and order a trailer full of bags of rice so I can distribute it to families lacking food. These families cannot even think of enjoying the holiday at beaches, resorts, or even cinemas; their top need is to feed and be alive. However, having this wish come true means that I could reach out to many people, like those who visited my house. I wasn't able to give much, I only gave to my capacity but with this wishes at my disposal, I could reach out to a large number of families and put smiles on their faces for this holiday.
