The barn swallows nesting on the eaves of my home used twigs and mud for their nest. I don't know how, but it seems to adhere to the irregular surface of the walls.
They must have used a thousand mud pellets to create this structure that curve outwards, upwards, and around!
I finally found the time to read about the birds. They are called barn swallows. Unlike most birds, they reuse their nest! Hehehe, like an adobe home... permanent!!!
The barn swallows are cobalt blue on the top and cinnamon in the underparts. I read that they are the only Northern American swallow with a forked tail.
They sweep low and fast as they are approaching the nest!

They are surely NOT TIDY!!!!
Oh, their nest are clean!
But they drop twigs and feces.
And if their nest in under the entry way... yuck!!!
I cleaned their mess yesterday, and this is barely a day after! <center
