No time to look at that. Cars are coming at high speed from both sides. Even after seeing, a school student is trying to cross the road by jumping over the road divider. Then another pedestrian. There are about 100 footover bridges under Dhaka's two city corporations and the road and highway department. And there are three underpasses. Among them, many people cross the road on footoverbridges in some areas including Dhaka's Farmgate, Mirpur 10 Golchakkar or Banani. But compared to that, Panthpath or Bailey Road footoverbridges are not seen to be used much.
It is true that many people travel through Gulistan and Caravanbazar underpasses in Dhaka, but the number of pedestrians who walk through the nearby main road is not less than that.
There is no signal and road sign on the main road. So accidents happen constantly.
