How are you all doing? π
It is us again, and for now, we want to share with you our experience on our unexpected buddy run over the weekend. We'll get our bodies movin' and let's get right into it, shall we?
7-ELEVEN presents VIRTUAL RUN 2021 in MANILA, CEBU, and DAVAO. 40,000 participants from those areas to run from November 7 to 30.
GETTING THE NEWS
On a Friday afternoon, one of our officemates told us that she has codes/ tickets for the company to be able to join a run from one of the biggest convenience stores in PH. She forwarded to miss @patsitivity the email given to her by 7/11 with codes. Then our department gathered around because it really caught our interest. Miss Pat registered us together with the girls from DP, the @lakwatserangthik.
And that is where it all started.
We were so excited and can't wait to run right away. We registered for a buddy run for 10km around Cebu. This is not the typical fun run where people will have the same starting point and ends at the same place too. Since we're still in a pandemic, 7-eleven found a way for us to still enjoy the feeling of running, at the same time still following safety protocols and preventing large crowd gatherings.
HERE'S THE PLAN
Everyone who'll join the run can decide as to where they'll start and end as long as it's the same distance as the one you've registered. So in our department, we decided to have it from Dumlog Talisay to IL Corso (10km distance).
We chose this place because this is where Jessa's house is. We planned to have our overnight at their place on Saturday, then have our run the next day.
After our office duty, we're supposed to go straight to Jessa's house but Rich from @lakwatserangthik said that she have to go to Ayala to do some errand from her uncle. While we're at it, we decided to have our dinner there.
DINNER AT MOOON CAFE
We roam around the mall and finally chose Mooon Cafe. The place looks nice and instagrammable. The place is clean and their lightings with design are cute to look at.
They also have different branches around Cebu like that in SM City and IT Park. A local cafe owned by a Cebuano businessman.
We have a pic of their menu in case you want to try their foods π.
We, @thegoodbi and @lakwatserangthik, ordered for our main dish their signature Mooon fried chicken (~5.30 USD), Gambas ala Luna (~5.30 USD), and Pork sisig (~4.00 USD). We also ordered two sets of rice platters (~3.80 USD) and for our drinks, Suncooler Big (~5.10 USD).
To be honest, their foods' appearance is not really that appealing and the serving is quite small. It tasted okay to the point that we wanted to order another platter of rice. π The service is good but our foods were served kinda late, maybe because there were a lot of people eating with us at that time. A lot chose this place for their dinner too.
After eating our dinner, we arranged our plates, glass, and other utensils for the convenience of the waiters. This is a good practice that should be observed by everyone as much as possible. CLAYGO.
AN ALL GIRLS NIGHT OUT: IT'S SLEEPOVER TIME
Finally, we arrived at Jessa's place after filling our stomach with dishes from Mooon Cafe. Even while still at the cafe, we've already talked and planned about what we should do once we're already in Talisay to sleepover.
The first thing we did at their house is making some Tiktok videos hahaha. We had fun indeed. We kept on laughing and enjoyed each other's company.
After doing those tiktoks, we felt tired and decided to eat some ice cream and cake because there were still a lot of foods left from yesterday's birthday celebration at their house. Yuuuuum π€€.
We're down to our last activity before we sleep. We need plenty of rest for our run the next day. It will be a tiring day tomorrow. But... we still watched some movies hahaha. It's already 12am and - Jessa & Jaya - were still wide awake. We finished the movie first. #priorities
That's it for this post. We're going to let you join us next time on our actual 10km Run journey, so please stay tuned everyone. β€
THE GOOD B.I. is a group of 4 employees-friends from Cebu City wanting to share their adventures and random ideas with everyone. The groupβs future stories to tell will be so vast and diverse. Imagine having four brains to share different ideas and might end up in a disagreement. A feat that others might be so fearful to do, but they believe that it is what will make their posts more exceptional and remarkable.
If you want to see more posts from @thegoodbi - an upvote, comment, follow, and reblog would mean a lot to them. It would motivate them and learn more from their audience. Thank you and let us all keep safe. π·
