Time to set some (non-financial) goals for 2022
I will leave out my financial (hive) goals for this post as I'm dedicating a separate one to those goals. Otherwise, this post would get very lengthy and to me, it's important to also focus on the personal goals that are more about personal growth and staying educated and making the most out of life without taking into account the financial aspects.
Priority is moving back to Spain
Without taking into account the financial aspect of some of the things that I have to arrange, I have a huge list of stuff that I first need to research thoroughly to make sure we will be able to move forward arranging these things, for example: opening a "Sociedad Limitada" there and the needed documents plus structure we will start with. There's a lot to take into account looking at short and long-term. Sometimes it's better to think things through for a longer period, but at this point, I'm yet to discover if that's the case here as well.
On top of that, I have set myself a goal to find the perfect school for my daughter. She has had bad luck with the kindergarten years thanks to health and later the pandemic, therefore I find it even more important to connect with the right people so that she will hopefully feel at home right away.
Both the business and school in Spain are actually my top priorities to focus on in the first months of the year. I'm not worried at all about finding the right home, this will be the lesser tough job.
Educating myself
Whilst working on quite an exciting bigger project together with a small group of people that have been in crypto since we started our journey, I feel the need to learn more about what we're setting up. Although I can easily focus on the parts that I master well, I want to be able to learn more about the technology behind everything as well as learn more about building stuff in the metaverse. I have no idea yet which direction exactly to follow, but I'm focussing on finding that answer in the next months so that I can start some courses or learn things myself through videos and reading about the topics.
With the world changing at a rapid pace, I really feel the need to add some valuable knowledge about this world that fascinates me so much.
El idioma que tanto amo: español
I anything is wrong with this translation, I admit using Google translate, haha. It should say: the language I love so much: Spanish. It's hard to keep up learning a language when you're living in a country that speaks another, which you first don't understand and secondly resent deeply. I truly have developed hate feelings towards Hungarian, unless it's spoken by my little lady. Then it sounds a bit cute. Otherwise, please don't speak!
When we lived in Spain, I could speak a fair bit of Spanish for the time spent there. In the last months, I could even go to my doctor or the hospital checkups without using Google translate. Which I was quite proud of. I do admit, that I'm much better at speaking it than writing. I'm already picking up my journey on Duolingo again as it's such a fun way of learning and I notice that every time when I leave for a while when I start again, I pick things up so easily again. I'm highly motivated to be able to conversate in Spanish without using my app.
Getting healthier in general
I'm still struggling to keep up with exercising, eating healthy constantly and mindfulness to keep things up. With so many goals set for me for 2022, I truly believe that this is a lot easier to accomplish when getting in a healthier state of mind in general. Therefore this is something that I'm going to work on harder this year. I want to learn more about healthy food combinations that I never thought of myself that will amaze us by their taste and get out of my comfort zone in trying out new things.
Example: Yesterday I ate shrimps for the first time after having a horrible disgusting feeling from even looking at them for all my life. I was horrified to try them, but I did and guess what, they weren't bad. Not great either, but maybe I need to learn how to prep them and learn to appreciate them.
My bucket list is never-ending
So this year, I'd like to make sure that I have completed at least 5 things on that list. Which ones, I will leave in the open because of opportunities coming to my path and partially also because sometimes you just have to feel the connection to push things forward.
One of the things I hope to complete this next year is to have my first experience on a shooting range. I know for a fact that there are plenty of options out there, and one even very close to home, so honestly there is no excuse to not complete this one in the next year. It's just that my bucket list often disappears in the background and I forget what's on it until I open it again. Let's change that, life is too short!
