gm! It's been a long while and I didn't even realized it's been that long! 8 days of not sharing good vibes! Mostly I have just been busy with my family stuff during this Chinese New Year family gathering and.. wait for it.. NFTs! Been into those lately and since I'm new to the niche, I have been spending hours a day to learn and research. Anyways, today is not about all the NFT craze I have been so into but some good vibes and good views of this Chinese theme cafe up in the mountains during the Chinese New Year a few days ago.
π³ Khao Kho District
One of my family members just bought a piece of land up in Khao Kho, a district of Phetchabun Province, northern Thailand. The weather is great, no (less) pollution and quite cooler because it's way up north of the country. I think this was my first time coming here so it was all new scenes and exciting. Small villages, tribe people, and all natural goods sold along side the street. Not to mention, a lot of cute resorts and cafes almost every square km. (over stated, of course but you get what you mean! :D)
π²π»Liangshan Coffee Khaokho
There are so many cafe but we had just so little time. Gotta choose only a few to visit during these few days that we're there. I left all the research to all my teenage cousins. This Liangshan Coffee Khaokho was one of the two they picked. One of the reasons was because it's located way up top the mountain which means, awesome view from above. Plus+ the extreme Chinese theme that you don't see it very often around here.
π» Crazy ride, crazy view
Going up there was one of the highlights I would say, since it's pretty steep, we gotta park down at the parking lot and hop on their 4 wheel truck. Imagine a no roof, no back barrier kind of truck. Got some butterflies during the way up that's for sure. Even I was in the front (because of my broken leg), it was still really a crazy ride.
Liangshan Coffee Khaokho up top, mostly just red-ish, Chinese-ish theme. I was actually confused as it's more like Chinese-ish, Japanese-ish. The thing I love most was really the view. I couldn't go check out on the upper level because of the stairs were a little slippery and quite steep. Even the lower level, the view was already a killing!
I imagine it would be much better with some cold beer. With the warm sun, the view, surrounded by the mountains. Unfortunately, only coffee and tea are served! Oh wait! Now that we're talking about some drinks, I think I need to mention that, the ticket for the truck was 100THB and that already includes the drink up top. Even their drinks were not the best (None of us finished our drinks), I think it's totally worth it.
Would I visit Liangshan Coffee Khaokho again?
Honestly, if it was I myself with the same crew, we probably wouldn't go there again. Totally love the view, that's true but their drinks are nothing special. Though, if I come again with new people, would totally bring them there to enjoy the view. Maybe sneak some cold beer to enjoy #oops Just keep it between us!
