Les explicare desde mi experiencia siendo estudiante de esta interesante carrera, la cual es la unión de dos carreras en una.

Ahora bien, Histocitotecnologia, es la ciencia que estudia la composición (por así decirlo) mas pequeña del ser humano, ya que los tejidos, órganos y demás, están compuestos por células, como por ejemplo:
Célula eucaritoa la cual tiene un núcleo donde almacena su ADN

Ya teniendo esto en claro podemos desglosar la Histología: que se entiende como histología, bueno.. sencillamente es la encargada de estudiar la anatomía de los tejidos tanto como de humanos, plantas y animales (Si, es sorprendente pero las plantas también).
Luego de haber explicado brevemente lo que va la histología podemos ir hacia la Citologia: la cual trata de la morfología (estructura para mas sencillo entender) de la célula, como se comporta, como evoluciona y así
Teniendo en cuanta las explicaciones es sencillo entender el nombre de la carrera: Hicto-cito-tecnologia.

- Citologia.
El profesional en esta carrera esta capacitado en aproximaciones diagnósticas de procesos inflamatorios, infecciosos, preneoplásicos y neoplásicos en muestras citológicas de diferente tipo en organismos vivos, ya sean de humanos, plantas o animales.
Por ende su demanda en trabajo es grande ya que se puede conseguir tanto como en ginecólogos, laboratorio, hospitales y morgues.
Already having this clear we can break down the Histology: that is understood as histology, well ... simply is responsible for studying the anatomy of tissues such as human, plants and animals (Yes, it's surprising but plants too).
After having briefly explained what histology is about, we can move on to cytology: which deals with the morphology (structure for simpler understanding) of the cell, how it behaves, how it evolves and so on.
Taking into account the explanations it is easy to understand the name of the course: Hicto-cyto-technology.

The professional in this career is trained in diagnostic approaches to inflammatory, infectious, preneoplastic and neoplastic processes in cytological samples of different types in living organisms, whether human, plant or animal.
Therefore, it is in great demand in the labor market since it can be obtained in gynecologists, laboratories, hospitals and morgues.
Aquí una pequeña muestra de lo que se hace en una practica de laboratorio :) no se puede detallar pero se puede mostrar las disecciones anatómicas

En mi opinión ya con tres años cursando esta carrera, al principio lo vez sumamente difícil y sientes que no puedes seguir, tanto con el estrés como otras cosas pero luego por ti mismo te entra la curiosidad de saber mas y mas y allí es cuando le das amor a la carrera, actualmente amo mi profesión y no dudaría en estudiar de nuevo.

In my opinion, after three years in this career, at the beginning you find it extremely difficult and you feel that you can not continue, both with the stress and other things but then by yourself you get curious to know more and more and that is when you give love to the career, now I love my profession and I would not hesitate to study again.
