Do you know you can promote your content basically for free and drive more engagement into your posts and blog?

In this post we will briefly talk about neat feature we have had for over a year and how promotion system is working.
When using Ecency.com or Ecency mobile app, users are earning/minting Ecency Points (ECEN) for every action (no matter their stake), voting, comment, posting, reblog, check-ins, delegation, etc.
These Ecency points soon will have ECEN token equivalent where you can swap back and forth, trade agains HIVE and other tokens. One of the use cases of Ecency Points, is to promote your content for any length you desire.
When promoting content, Ecency Points are sent back to reward pool. Promoted content is shuffled across the feeds.
Idea is to give content most visibility, which we think it is achieving that and with good title, thumbnail and quality article, you will likely draw much more eyeballs to your work.
What most doesn't realize is that, those content gets found by Google and other search engines much faster too. So you potentially get more visibility because your content and work is indexed by Google and other search engines. Thus will drive more traffic to your work in long term.
Why or how it gets indexed faster?
You see, Google or any search engine crawler starts indexing periodically from certain entry point, in our case let's say from home page. And crawler starts to visit every link page has and expands from there. As described above, your promoted post is randomized across the feeds, so that content is indexed much faster even if your content doesn't necessarily trend or get into hot topics section.
How to promote content?
In https://ecency.com and Ecency mobile, desktop apps you will find Points page where all recent points activities are located, click on arrow next to your Points balance and select Promote.
You will see following wizard, where you can start typing your username and you will get your recent posts as options or you can simply copy paste your post in username/permlink format.
Select duration - 1, 2, 3, 7, 14 days and click Next to sign the transaction with Keychain or Hivesigner.
