Although we are in the raining season here in Nigeria, but sometimes the sun can be so hot you get to ask yourself "who did we really offend in this country". To the point that when you go out you feel the hotness of the sun on your hair and your body. No wonder, some people fall sick because of this reason.
After a long walk outside in the sun, the first thing I do when I get home and electricity is available is take a full glass of chilled water to calm down my hot nerves,. So refreshing I can tell you. This is actually preferable to the room temperature water considering the weather.
It doesn't end there because I believe, the cold water deals with the inner system while the cold bath deals with the outer system. I get rid of clothes, either sun them or keep them for laundry, then I step into to the shower fully. By fully, I mean from head to toe. I let the hit my head to get that entire feeling of refreshment.
Apart from being indoors, other ways I unwind is taking a stoll in shades areas, the subtle breeze and gentle exercises are so perfect and refreshing.
There are several other ways and methods people take to refresh and relax themselves, it could be visiting the beach as people love the waves of water and calmness to meditate. Wear light clothing around, evening walk with friends or loved on and so on.
But these are the ways I chill after a busy, hot day.
