Hearing about the hive block chain for quite some time felt like a sham. This is largely due to the fact that there are quite a number of fishy platforms out there with the aim of swindling people of their possessions, however this is different. After much convincing from my uncle with indisputable evidence about its legitimacy, I have decided to give it my undivided attention.
Hello everyone, my name is Rejoice Ayang a high school student of Peace and Unity international school. I am a Nigerian from the South but live somewhere in the North Central region ( Niger state specifically). I am good in three distinct languages namely: Hausa, Efik and English obviously. I have also tried giving Japanese a try but for some reason I just can't seem to get past ohayo.
For as long as I can remember, I have always lived with my grandparents from my maternal side and this is the only family I have ever known. Mom is a business woman keeping the struggle going, always chasing the bag and that might be the reason I prefer staying with the family than living with her. I still get to see her once in awhile but if you ask me I am much closer to my uncle than I am my own mom.
My educational background is the same as any typical Nigerian child. I started nursery pretty early because I didn't want to stay at home alone and according to my grandparents I was quite the talker as a baby. My uncle was pretty much my guardian, brother and protector, taking me to school and bringing back home everyday until I got into high school. I did not switch schools much as a child and If I remember correctly, Peace and Unity international school might just be the only school I have ever attended till date. I'll be graduating from high school next year with plans of furthering into a university and becoming a doctor in the not so distant future, hopefully I am able to achieve my dreams.
Both my uncles are movie lovers especially animated films which influenced massively. The eldest made sure I watched every anime he was interested in and this built a deep love for Japanese culture. I am still struggling to learn the language but one thing is for certain, I am definitely going to Kyoto one day. Oooooh I also watch western movies, the super hero action movies are what's hot these days so I guess I can publicly declare myself a DC fan.
Least I forget, I am also a lover of music. My environment influenced my taste leaving no room to discriminate. I listen to everything as long as it is good be it reggae, RnB, Afrobeat, amapiano or any other genre. However my preferred genre falls on music from this side of the world ( afrobeats). I can dance, sing, play video games and I am quite the runner even though nobody gives me the chance to prove myself.
On the block chain I'll be focused on writing, singing, making reviews and blogging content. I am still pretty new to this so there are bound to be mistakes but I am willing to give it my all so I can learn from these mistakes to improve with noticeable results. I was told plagiarism is not tolerated here on hive so I'll try to stay original for the mutual benefit of myself and the platform.
