Hello, good evening to you all. You're welcome to my blog.
This night, I want to share the inspiration I have from the scriptures.
The Bible is something every Christian should be reading at least twice a day. Believe me, it's not as easy as most people think.
But as you continue to deliberate on it day and night, you will discover how better your life has become. The scriptures are sweeter than honey when you're on the right track.
It would get to a point where you couldn't eat in a day without studying the scriptures. There is life and fulfilment once you develop your time for the scriptures.
It gives you enlightenment and also helps to strengthen those who were about to go astray. A lot of people have been acting strangely each time their friends ask them to come and study the scriptures with them.
You know what! You don't need to be angry, give it and try and thank me later.
I will be sharing the inspiration I got from the scriptures with you.
I will be reading from the book of Ezekiel 2:1-10, I will be reading from the King James version, and I will read.
1 . And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee.
And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me.
And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day.
For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD.
And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.
And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.
And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.
But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee.
And when I looked, behold, a hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein;
And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.
These verses of the scriptures talk about God and his prophet Ezekiel. G od needed someone whom he wanted to use in passing his message across to the children of Israel.
Since he already had the prophet Ezekiel, he had to go to him. He set him on his feet and gave him a message he was to deliver to the children of Israel.
According to the scriptures, Prophet Ezekiel was asked to tell the Children of Israel that they and their fathers had rebelled against him. According to the scriptures, they were stiffhearted as well.
God was trying to tell them to repent from their sins. He knew they wouldn't listen, so he asked the prophet Ezekiel to tell them what he had said. Whether they listened or not, one day they would know there was a prophet in Israel.
He went further to tell Prophet Ezekiel not to be afraid of them, and that their words would strengthen him.
He promised to be with him. God warned the prophet Ezekiel not to be as rebellious as the children of Israel. He gave him a scroll to eat, and it consisted of lamentations, mourning, and woe.
Tonight, God is not referring to the Israelites anymore, He's referring to you and me. A lot of us have rebelled against God in so many ways.
God is still merciful, he's asking us to come back to him. He's ready to forgive. He doesn't want his work on the cross to be in vain.
In conclusion, please let everyone think about this. Let's go back to our maker, and he will perfect all that concerns us.
Thank you so much for always visiting my blog.
