Tomatos in my garden
The tomatoes in our garden are turning ripe, and it’s so exciting! My mom has been taking cuttings and growing more plants, and they're starting to look like little tomato bushes. The plums are ripe too! Since we can’t eat all of them, we love to share the extras with the little birds that visit us. As for the plums that the birds can’t nibble on, there are plenty of beetles enjoying the ones that have fallen to the ground—they’re having a feast! We’ve even started to see butterflies in the garden, which is lovely. Even though our garden is small, it brings me so much joy to watch all the cute urban birds and insects that come to visit.
庭のトマトが熟れてきた。オカンが挿し木でどんどん増やしていて、トマトの茂みのようになってきた。スモモも熟れてきて、もう食べきれずあとは小鳥にプレゼントしている。小鳥が直接食べれないスモモは、地面に落ちたスモモにたくさんのダンゴムシが食べに来ていてそのダンゴムシをついばみに来ていた。チョウも庭に来はじめた。小さな庭だけど、けっこういろんな都会の小鳥や虫がきて、観察するのを楽しんでいます。
