Paypal used to be available for Pakistan a very long time ago however after a brief period Paypal removed its services from Pakistan. So after seeing some online tutorials I decided to create a Paypal account from Pakistan; so here are the steps I took:
- I used a VPN to tag my location to a tier 1 country where Paypal was available.
- I bought a United Kingdom mobile phone so I can fill in the one time password issue.
Now I successfully created a Paypal account but the thing is immedietly Paypal added restrictions to my account and all my efforts went into dust. They told me if I want to continue to avail all the features of Paypal account I need to do following:
- Upload my photo and ID documents.
- Provide proof of location.
- Credit card information.
- Bank information.
Now I did not provide Paypal any of the information so I told myself hey why not entirely close my Paypal account off. So I did just that but sadly they would not let me close my account even until I met their conditions to providing them the information they required.
To answer the question if you can create a Paypal account from Pakistan is a simple one; No you cannot create a Paypal account from Pakistan because it is not in the list of eligible countries. It is a simple concept which I could not understand and hence had to go through a lot of trouble.
