I have already got a monetized YouTube channel that is 14 years old and I made it in 2011. Checking the lifetime YouTube analytics for my monetized YouTube channel I noticed way back I uploaded an AudioBook which later I deleted but that AudioBook gave me an average view duration of 20 minutes for the 20k views it got. The problem with that AudioBook was that it was on a controversial topic which lead me to deleting that YouTube video. But below you will see how I can replicate the same strategy for monetizing my second YouTube channel even in this new year of 2025 where the average view duration is pretty low for most videos which is round about 1 minute or less:
I have to find existing creative commons licence eBooks which are ranked high on the google search engine. Creative commons licence are public domain properties which you can commercially reuse however the trick to all of this is that you need to make sure these eBooks are popular in the google search engine.
Now after successfully finding public domain ebooks I will revise these ebooks using ChatGPT as this chatbot has some great GPTS which I can leverage to my advantage this will help me bypass plagiarism even though the source material is creative commons.
The next step is pretty simple I got a Shure sm7b replica microphone which I bought from AliExpress hence the sound quality using this microphone is of high quality so I will simply convert these created eBooks into AudioBooks and then upload them on YouTube.
The final step is a simple one which is that I need to keep creating eBooks and then convert them to AudioBooks to upload them on YouTube. What happens is that my YouTube channel will keep appearing on google and YouTube search for existing topics that people search for so the only thing I need to worry about is insert chapters in my AudioBooks on YouTube.
Now I have uploaded three AudioBooks already on YouTube and have collected traffic source data on all of them and this has lead me to formulate this strategy so my roadmap is basically data driven and the chance of success is really high.
Would love to hear your thoughts on this, as this project requires a lot of hard work and time but the rewards seem to be really high.
