In the previous month I was looking at the work of an influencer on Medium known as Sinem Gunel, and after seeing her website by searching through Google, I saw that she has been very active in producing educational material for Medium on various platforms. This really inspired me to create my own course, but I did not want to invest in a dedicated website for it, so I started to do research on Udemy. Now, even though I have a dedicated YouTube channel for Medium, I noticed that Udemy has somehow made a place in the education niche on the internet.

Udemy still is pretty popular, as it had 78 million-plus visitors to its website in February 2025. Now I am not considered to be a huge blogger by any standards on Medium like Sinem Gunel; however, what I can do with my limited resources and the time I spent on the platform is to share my experience with my students through the Udemy platform, and that is why I made this course available for free. One more thing to note is that I am a very poor person who is jobless and mostly relies on my income to come through the internet, so basically I cannot consider myself to be a powerful influencer on any platform really. This means I had no choice but to keep this course for free because it requires marketing through various powerful social media channels and also through an email list, which I do not have. Now Sinem Gunel has made her courses available under a paywall, but she can afford to do that because she is a powerful influencer, as she is having great success on a lot of platforms like Medium.
Last month on Medium I hardly made 10.36 dollars, which is a very low income but enough to get to the payment threshold.
Why You Should Consider Joining This Udemy Free Course
The name of this Udemy free course is "Medium Blogging Masterclass For Newbie Bloggers" and old readers can identify that its title is a bit similar to the course on Udemy by Sinem Gunel, but that course does not allow new student enrollments any more and has been shifted to other websites where it is available, so I will say to check that course out as well if you can afford it. In this free Udemy course the following things will be discussed:
- How to make money through various ways using the Medium blogging platform.
- The rules that you must adhere to in order to survive on Medium.
- My tips from the experience I have had on Medium.
