Hello friends. A walk through Caracas made me visit two of the most important squares of the city. The first photos correspond to the Caracas square, this same one is surrounded by buildings and in the east zone is the statue of the Liberator Simon Bolivar, as the main monument of this square.
This statue of Simon Bolivar was named El Genio, by the Spanish artist Victorio Macho. It is located near the Teatro Colegio Pequeños and Parque Maracaibo.
The towers of the Simon Bolivar Center compose the referential structure of the square. On the occasion of the bicentennial of the birth of Simon Bolivar this square was built in 1983.
Sucre Square
Unlike the previous square, this is an open-air square located in Catia in the Sucre parish of Caracas.
Sucre of Caracas. Looking for some information I found out that this statue was made by the sculptor Lorenzo Gonzalez, who made it in bronze material in Paris and then it was brought to Venezuela.
The square is located near the Catia Theater and many locals.
