What is the Hive Thrive Community Hour?
A HIVE discord show that will have a town hall feel to it.
We see a real gap between devs, projects, witnesses, community leaders, and everyday Hive users. There are so many people looking to feel more connected, engaged, and informed—and we want to bridge that gap. This show is about:

• @mynewlife, a traveling photographer and filmmaker whose lens has captured Hive’s impact from Ghana to Poland, including the new documentary Water Direct.

We’re joined by @hallman, founder of Królestwo Bez Kresu (KBK)—a cultural space in Poland powered by Hive and human grit. Over the past year, his team has transformed Hive-backed support into hard numbers: 135% growth in visits, 691% increase in social interactions, 190 accounts onboarded, and a Facebook rewards campaign that reaches thousands each week. But not all is smooth sailing. In recent months, internal doubts and DAO proposal setbacks have sparked raw reflections about the limits of decentralization, and what it means to keep going anyway.
Alongside is @mynewlife, a professional photographer and videographer who tells Hive stories through the lens. After witnessing Hive-funded boreholes and community outreach in Ghana, they shared that energy in Kraków— Water Direct, was screened during SLOT Art Day and there is a wider release planned for KBK’s 10-year anniversary soon. Whether documenting blockchain in action or using his keen photography eye, @mynewlife brings a passionate, artistic voice to the Hive ecosystem.
