Hi Hive family, it's great to be here.
I've always been looking for a platform to connect with creative and like-minded individuals, learn from them, and share my thoughts. A friend introduced me to Hive, and I was drawn to the unique name, which I thought would reflect the kind of people I'd meet here. After spending less than 48 hours on this site, I'm thrilled to find that my expectations were valid. I've stumbled upon so many posts and write-ups, and I must say I've found the right platform for myself and I'm 100% in for this.
I know you might be wandering, who is this newbie?
Well, this newbie is a young girl, a Nigerian citizen from Otun in Ekiti State. I'm the last born of three children from a family of five, but sadly, I lost both parents, leaving me with two siblings.
Despite the challenges, I'm grateful for where I am today. Growing up wasn't easy, but it taught me to value life, family and parenting.
I studied Business Administration at the Federal University of Oye Ekiti. Guess what? I'm a serving corps member, currently serving in Enugu State. The NYSC has allowed me to sharpen my writing skills by posting materials to the NYSC secretariat as the Editorial-in-Chief.
You can call me Topwealth, it's a nickname that warms my heart.
I also refer to myself as BBC not the regular BBC channel, but mine, which stands for Black, Bold, and Courageous.
I'm a writer, singer, and public speaker with a passion for the corporate world. My dream is to build my own company one day. Although I'm shy, I guess I don't look it, because people often don't believe me when I say I'm introverted.
But I'm confident my hive family will understand that I can be both shy and bold at the same time.
As a Christian, my faith is important to me, and I hold integrity and honesty as core values.
I'm excited to learn, explore, and soak up all the opportunities that HIVE has to offer. Everything is new to me right now, but I'm confident that I'll quickly adapt and scale up in no time. As a fast learner, I'm eager to absorb knowledge, adjust to new situations, and make the most of this platform.
Thank you for reading through and I'm looking forward to your remarks.
