INTRODUCTION
Overwhelming joy is felt when a baby is born in the family. I could recall when our brother was born; excitement enfolded around us every day as we kept our eyes stuck on him. We loved him extra special because he's the youngest in the family.
As the years rolled by, I became a mother too, and the feeling was exceedingly jubilant when I cuddled my first baby in my arms, followed by my second child, who brought a world to us.😇
Until then, as I watched them grow, I noticed that they'd developed personal views on life. With this, there's a cue that prompts me to a realization. Time will come when they will hole up their own lives, resting on their path of calling, though as parents, they can have our backs for them. However, the feeling that everything would change from kids to adults relative to parental relationships is a bit faintly missed.
When they reach professional stage, they self-evaluate so as to identify personal inclinations and predilections owing to picking a work fitly suited to their characters because they know that their preference has a boon and a bane. Hence, they responsibly establish and develop resilience as they finally reflect improvements to carry out goals for their own survival and/or for their supported family.
As they are getting more mature, a more profound relationship is what they long for. They find attraction, feel the stirrings of someone else's ardor, and seek their own happiness with one another. This is tough to maintain since it is more likely to be tested over time. Survival in terms of finances, variance of opinion over a crucial decision, mind-frame parenting, giving up things, and meeting each other halfway when compromises are warranted for the sake of marriage.
A complete family is the product of cupidity. Children are mainly the gift. Family is supposed to be valuable because they can provide support and security, along with unreserved love. Like when we need ears to hear us out and open arms in times of need. With that, we feel guarded and secure due to our home defenses when we are with them. It is where racy children are nurtured best to become responsible citizens in the future.
Introspection, or being reflective of the past, is foreseen to stand in place during senility. Those enchanted memories are reminisced about preceding the declining years. Sadly, physical aptitude declines, startling boldness is becoming stunted, and they are apt to become oversentimental, especially when they look back as to how they were so dependable. Thus, it goes without saying that insecurity strikes, and social withdrawal is the upshot. However, such is not always the case; some are reversions. This is an environment-dependent factor. This period ends at the agonal respiration by which I personally call, placid respiration as lent life terminates.
REFLECTION
We were born but yesterday: the cyclical nature of life: The unchanging setting and rising of the sun reminds us that as the daybreaks, another twilight awaits. It is an unsurprising reality to take to one's heart. Thus, we want to take advantage of every opportunity this living sphere has to offer, by hoeing a life worth bequeathing to the heirs of this temporal world. Children scoop up habits and even frame references from adults that could last throughout the realm of their lives. In this manner, we want them to have their best option when they grow up, because everything will end. We cannot be on their side forever, just as they are, because you and I are just passersby.
But each day that we live is a moment prepared not just for hours of tomorrow but for yesterday' gone. So, cherish each day and spend life well, be it a train wreck , or a celebration. Sometimes we can mess up but still keep trying to go the extra mile. So enjoy every moment of our chances, as these will be left behind us, as footprints in the past. Before I go, here's the bottomline of this message: Life's flashbacks and rewinds become unblur memories when every trail of it shadows an upright legacy of faithleness to the Lord and is printed on the hearts and souls of the next generation.
