¿Que es HIVE.IO? / Whats is HIVE.IO?

     Nota: Este blog esta creado con el fin de orientar y educar acerca de la plataforma HIVE.IO, tanto a los nuevos usuarios, los interesados en ser parte del ecosistema Hive.io como también a los miembros ya registrados.

     Hive blockchain es el resultado de una controversia dentro de la comunidad blockchain Steem. Después de que Justin Sun, CEO de TRON, tomó el control de la startup Steem blockchain. La comunidad alrededor de esa red y de la plataforma Steemit decidieron bifurcar la cadena de bloques Steem. Y asi nació la red Hive. Siendo la comunidad que la rodea muy fiel a la nueva idea, hacen todo lo posible para hacer crecer el proyecto más rápido, convirtiéndola en un ejemplo de una plataforma descentralizada exitosa.

Del 50% que se te es acreditado a ti, 50% será abonado en HBD que los puedes retirar y depositarlos en tu cuenta bancario o hacer compras por internet y el otro 50% se te es abonado como Hive Power y esta moneda puede cambiarse total o parcialmente a la moneda HIVE en un proceso llamado Power Down que dura aproximadamente 13 semana, siendo entregado cada 7 días partes del monto retirado, hasta ser entregado el monto completo al finalizar las 13 semanas. Tu Hive Power también puede ser delegado a otras cuentas a través del proceso de delegación.

DPoS saca provecho del visto bueno de las partes interesadas y sólo así garantiza que el consentimiento sea justo… todos los parámetros de la red, desde los intervalos de bloqueo hasta el tamaño de las transacciones, se pueden ajustar a través de delegados elegidos.

     Una cadena de bloques basada en DPoS cuenta con un sistema de votación donde las partes interesadas subcontratan su trabajo a un tercero. En otras palabras, pueden votar por algunos delegados que asegurarán la red en su nombre. Los delegados también pueden denominarse testigos y son responsables de lograr el consenso durante la generación y validación de nuevos bloques. El poder de voto es proporcional al número de monedas que tiene cada usuario. El sistema de votación varía de un proyecto a otro, pero en general, cada delegado presenta una propuesta individual cuando solicita votos. Por lo general, las recompensas recolectadas por los delegados se comparten proporcionalmente con sus respectivos electores.

     A DPoS-based blockchain counts with a voting system where stakeholders outsource their work to a third-party. The delegates may also be referred to as witnesses and they are responsible for achieving consensus during the generation and validation of new blocks. The voting power is proportional to the number of coins each user holds. Usually, the rewards collected by the delegates are proportionally shared with their respective electors.

     Por lo tanto, el algoritmo DPoS crea un sistema de votación que depende directamente de la reputación de los delegados. Si un nodo elegido se comporta mal o no funciona de manera eficiente, será rápidamente expulsado y reemplazado por otro.

     En cuanto al rendimiento, las cadenas de bloques DPoS son más escalables, pudiendo procesar más transacciones por segundo (TPS), en comparación con PoW y PoS.

     In regards to performance, DPoS blockchains are more scalable, being able to process more transactions per second (TPS), when compared to PoW and PoS.

     Si bien PoS y DPoS son similares en el sentido de participación, DPoS presenta un novedoso sistema de votación democrático, mediante el cual los productores de bloque son elegidos. Dado que los votantes mantienen un sistema de DPoS, los delegados están motivados para ser honestos y eficientes o son eliminados. Además, las cadenas de bloques DPoS tienden a ser más rápidas en términos de transacciones por segundo que las PoS.

DPoS vs PoS

     While PoS and DPoS are similar in the sense of stakeholding, DPoS presents a novel democratic voting system, by which block producers are elected. Since a DPoS system is maintained by the voters, the delegates are motivated to be honest and efficient or they get voted out. In addition, DPoS blockchains tend to be more faster in terms of transactions per second than the PoS.

     La nueva cadena de bloques se vincula para proporcionar una descentralización completa a los usuarios. Eso quiere decir que emigramos de un modelo centralizado (Banco, Registrador, funcionario público, auditor, cartero o Notario) a uno descentralizado, donde todos somos a la vez banco, registrador, cartero, auditor y notario.

Este sistema convierte a las transacciones, repetimos que no tienen que ser exclusivamente económicas, y la forma en la que se ejecutan, en un factor clave del mismo.

Es decir, tenemos una red de nodos, en la cual en cada uno de los nodos hay una copia de las transacciones realizadas. Al ser una red descentralizada, ante la posibilidad de que cayesen uno o varios nodos, la red seguiría funcionando.
