My Experience
I lost my father at the age of 7, it really shaped my expectations. My father was a successful business man whom never want to see his family suffer. All what he did was to make sure that me and my sister have the best experience in life. He was ready to take us to the most expensive school in my town then. All this dreams crashed when he fell sick because almost all we had was spent on one hospital to the other.
He later died and everything he had laboured for was almost crashing. My sister was enrolled into a boarding school. My mom struggled to pay her school fees. It reach a certain point that my mom wanted to withdraw her from the school, but the proprietor pleaded with her but her mind was made up. He decided to be paying part of my sister's school fees for sometime. The business my mother was managing later crashed and we where surviving on the little salary she collects as a teacher.
On the other hand I was enrolled into a semi government school so that my mom can be able to meet up with my sister's school fees. That is the struggle people face when they lose someone significant in their life.
Fast forward to last year Me and my sister where seeking for admission. We where all praying to get admission but we know that what we have cannot push two of us to university. God who knows everything made my sister to go first. And I am preparing for mine this year too.
All this wouldn't have been like this if my hardworking father was alive, I am not predicting the future but I know that my late father cannot sit down and watch his family stressed. But I thank God for his faithfulness all this years he is always a father to a family without a father.
Thank you for reading my post and you can also write on the incident that changed your perspective on life.
