I have found that arriving at appointment a bit ahead of time actually reduce stress. Punctuality also enhanced a person reputation.

When am on time,it show that am trying to be in control of my life instead of allowing circumstances to prevent me from doing the things i want to do.

One thing that will help you is planning .if you find that you are regularly late for appointment,perhaps you have alot to accomplished.why not cut nonessential things, schedule more time between appointments,and aim to arrive early. This will allow for unexpected circumstances, such as traffic congestion or bad weather.
Know your limitations, decided whether an appointment will fit your schedule before agreeing to it . By over-booking , you add stress and frustration to yourself and others.
