Hello hive community!
Today I am feeling inspired and in connection with various photographs I have, I want to tell you about a phase of the day that all human beings enjoy: Sunset.
When the sun sets, everything slows down until it almost stops when we reach twilight. Sunset is that terminal part of the day that tinges the sky with a whole range of reds from bright to orange that warm our souls even more than midday, when the sun is at its zenith and its vigor is strong and decisive.
Sometimes the sun peeps out behind the clouds and so the colors are the most diverse, sometimes we also have shades of purple, as in the picture above and the one below.
Another feature of almost all sunsets is the sea. The sea plays a very important role in the composition of the photograph, and, I must say, most of my photos have the sea as their subject.
For the same reason: sea -> summer -> hot weather!
In addition to the ones above, I also have others
You can see a winter sunset, all right, and I photographed it, but the colors are not as warm as in summer!
Can't believe it?
Look at this
This was taken in October, and on the same day I took this one a few minutes apart:
Also in the mountains, this time it is a picture from January, in the middle of winter:
Sometimes we can also play around and make the sun no longer our subject, but become a complement that lends us only the colors to identify that precise time of day, as I exploited it in this photo:
The quality is a bit low, but it's all a consequence: first of all, I'll tell you that this photo was taken in February in the Bolognese plains, but it's not facing south, where we might rightly see hills, it's facing west (as if I were looking toward Modena from Bologna).
So the mountains that you can see are what?
They are clouds, and all the white tinged with red and orange is a very faint evening mist.
The quality of the photo is low, in the sense that there is a lot of noise, due to the fact that I pushed the zoom to the maximum so that I could remove any landmarks.
For some, the sunset might have a mixed meaning in that it is the end of the day: true, but it indicates the beginning of a new day, a new you!
Besides, let's face it: it is much easier and more manageable to photograph a sunset since we are almost all awake, than to photograph a sunrise: at 5 a.m. you hardly set your alarm to take amateur photographs!
I look forward to seeing your photos in the comments, and why not some sunrises too!
