As you know, I became a dad and many friends, even before Samuele was born, told me that I should have a lot of patience because children make you sleep little and then cry a lot.

Sono sempre stato una persona molto paziente.
Non in tutte le situazione se devo essere proprio sincero, ma lo sono stato nei casi in cui dovevo esserlo ed era necessario.
Ci sono dei momenti in cui reputo però che la pazienza vada persa, senza se e senza ma, oggi però non desidero parlare di questi casi.
Oltre l'aformisma di apertura un altro mi ha colpito molto e te lo voglio riportare.
Secondo me questa frase va a toccare proprio il nocciolo della questione; pazienza non vuol dire sopportazione o addirittura soppressione della rabbia; queste naturalmente sono comunque due buone qualità che in determinate situazione della vita è bene avere.
Come sai sono diventato Papà e molti amici, già prima che Samuele nascesse, mi dicevano che avrei dovuto avere tanta pazienza perché i bambini ti fanno dormire poco e poi piangono tanto.
Quando andiamo in ospedale per i controlli che il Nanetto deve fare periodicamente ci sono sempre tanti bambini che piangono e i genitori, in alcuni casi anche i medici, li sgridano dicendo di non farlo come se li ascoltassero; se io fossi un bambino di sei mesi pur capendoti me ne sbatterei altamente le palle di te genitore inesperto educatore e di te medico laureato a Paperopoli.
Questo magari è uno di quei casi in cui si deve avere pazienza, deve essere strutturata e motivata però.
A queste persone, siano esse genitori o medici, mi verrebbe da chiedere una sola cosa; ma se non piangono ora che sono praticamente neonati quando devono farlo?
In realtà i quesiti sarebbero due, ma secondo voi non è meglio che piangano ora perché stanno facendo i denti piuttosto che quando saranno adulti per un qualsiasi altro motivo?

Quando i cani dei vicini abbaiano la notte non mi infastidisco.
Quando ero educatore e seguivo Dodo non mi infastidivo perché per giornate intere mi toccava e gesticolava, per chi se lo chiedesse Domenico è autistico.
Per molti questi sono tutti indizi della mia pazienza; io non lo so se sia così, quello che so è che quando queste cose accadevano o accadono ancora oggi mi fermo un secondo a pensare, sorrido e poi proseguo a fare ciò che devo e a comportarmi come necessario.
Qui forse entra in gioco il pensiero del secondo aforisma che ho scritto in questo post.
Quando Samuele piange per le gengive o perché ha fame sta semplicemente comunicando dei suoi bisogni e delle sue sensazioni; un cane che abbia sta anche lui comunicando; Dodo quando mi tocca spesso lo fa per affetto o a volte richiama la mia attenzione per comunicarmi qualcosa.
Come detto io rifletto un attimo e poi sorrido mentre cerco di capire cosa ognuno di loro sta provando a comunicarmi perché a loro modo stanno parlando con me.
Sarà pazienza per molti, sopportazione per altri io non so cosa sia, la cosa che so è che non vedo quale sia il motivo per cui dovrei innervosirmi solo perché una di queste fantastiche Creature che ho preso ad esempio e che mi regala la gioia della propria presenza, sta provando a comunicarmi qualcosa.
Secondo me, coloro che non sanno fare uso di pazienza, semplicemente non sanno solo fermarsi un attimo a riflettere.

Qualsiasi cosa io faccia la faccio nella piena consapevolezza e nel pieno controllo di me stesso; spesso mi esprimo in maniera colorita dicendo che prenderei a calci in culo qualcuno però, nella realtà, non è mai successo poiché io non faccio uso della violenza ma, semmai un giorno capiterà, sarà qualcosa fatto in maniera conscia.
Molti amici, quando chiacchieriamo e riflettiamo su pensieri come questo mi chiedono: "Ma quindi se qualcuno facesse del male a tuo Figlio sopporteresti e perdoneresti?"
No, assolutamente no, gli strapperei il cuore dal petto e lo prenderei a morsi; fatto questo però chiamerei i carabinieri gli direi di venirmi a prendere e mi farei gli anni di carcere che mi spettano.
