Does the spiritual actually control the physical?
Something happened in my neighborhood yesterday that made me question life. I've got this neighbor who's a very influential businessman from Delta State. His name is Mr. Liberty. He's a very successful livestock farmer and also the only son of his parents. Mr. Liberty has been doing so well for himself that he's become the envy of some in the neighborhood.
So, yesterday, Mr. Liberty went about his normal daily business routine, and on his way back home after his daily hustle, unknown to him, he was being followed by some kidnappers. These people followed him until he drove into his compound. Luckily for Liberty, his gate man quickly locked the gate before they could come in. That's how these men started shooting mercilessly and desperately. All thanks to God, he escaped the kidnapping.
The news spread all over town, and everyone was coming to celebrate with him on his survival. Even his parents got to hear about the news and demanded he come back to the village for the time being, if not for anything, then for his safety, because the kidnappers might want to come back again.
So, this morning, Mr. Liberty headed to the village. This time around, he didn't go with his car but with a motorcycle, thinking that was actually safe enough for him. He proceeded on the journey with his younger brother, who was the driver. I think he wanted to just disguise himself. But unfortunately, he was involved in a very terrible accident and died on the spot ðŸ˜, leaving his pregnant wife and family in so much pain.
I was so broken when I heard the news, and since then, I've been asking myself what kind of life this is. One minute you're alive, and the next minute you're no more. All these sufferings we go through daily – is it really worth it? I need answers, please, because my heart is broken, and I'm in pain.
Thank you for reading through.
