This photo was taken yesterday while I was administering first aid to one of my students who had an accident.
As I was teaching in class and walking around while explaining, I noticed one of the students sitting quietly and looking sad, with one of his hands covered with a handkerchief. From the expression on his face, I could tell something was wrong.
"What’s wrong with you?" I asked.
"Sir, I had an accident on my way to school," he replied.
"Is anyone aware of this?" I inquired.
He said no. He had quietly come into the class with the wound and stayed without telling anyone.
Immediately, I took him to the compound master's office, got the first aid box, and administered the necessary treatment.
This is a clear reminder of why teachers should be observant and why every school should have a well-equipped first aid box. It could make a world of difference in moments like this.
