I didn't even remember that it was on August 4, 2021, that it all began — my journey at Hive! I thought my Hive anniversary was sometime in the middle of the year, but the exact date had slipped my mind. With the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it was a surprise to receive the #HiveBuzz notification!
Like many of us, I came here because of #Splinterlands, looking for a way to combine my passion for games with an opportunity to earn money. Playing to earn — the famous play-to-earn — exploring the universe of NFTs on Web3. At first, everything seemed very confusing to me: blockchain, NFTs, digital assets... It was all a delirious fever.
To this day, Splinterlands is still present in my life — albeit less intensely than before. When I started, I even made a few posts on Hive, but honestly, I didn't really know what I was doing or how things worked around here. I spent about a year just playing almost every day.
After a while, I tried to start posting about Splinterlands again. I still didn't know about the weekly challenges, nor did I know how the community worked. That's when a Brazilian, @michupa, found me lost on Hive and introduced me to HiveBR. I was a lost sheep... until I found my flock.
From that moment on, I never stopped posting. At first, it was just posts about SPL, but little by little I started exploring other communities. Today, I can safely say that Hive is part of my life, part of my daily routine.
Currently, I have significantly reduced my participation in Hive games. I still post occasionally about Splinterlands, but I no longer play as regularly, as I have many responsibilities in real life. Work, college, family, and other tasks have been consuming a lot of my time. Therefore, my focus has been on posting on Hive Learners, Liketu (sharing my personal life), and other communities. Today, I can proudly say that I am part of Hive — and that it is also part of me.
This year, I set myself a big goal: to reach 10 KHP. At the moment, I have just over 7 KHP. It seems almost impossible, considering that there are only five months left until the end of the year and that my monthly HP gain is around 300 to 400. So, the numbers really don't add up. But I'm the stubborn type, who doesn't really like spreadsheets — I just follow the plan and move forward.
When I started, practically all of my HP was delegated. Today, I've changed that. About 50% of my HP is delegated, and my goal is to reduce that number to 30%, maybe even 10% in the long run. I want to manually vote on content and projects that I truly believe in, that make sense to me and to the Hive ecosystem.
Finally, I want to thank everyone and everything that brought me here. I am grateful for this opportunity. Even though not everything is easy, it is very special to be part of something, to fight for something we like and have always dreamed of.
My dream has always been to “make money playing games.” I think I even came close to that, but in fact... I found something much better!

Eu nem lembrava que foi no dia 4 de agosto de 2021 que tudo começou — minha jornada na Hive! Achava que meu Hive-versário era em algum momento do meio do ano, mas a data exata já havia saído da memória. Com a correria do dia a dia, foi uma surpresa receber a notificação do #HiveBuzz!
Como muitos de nós, cheguei aqui por causa do #Splinterlands, buscando uma forma de unir minha paixão por jogos com uma oportunidade de ganhar dinheiro. Jogando para ganhar — o famoso play-to-earn —, explorando o universo das NFTs na Web3. No início, tudo parecia muito confuso pra mim: blockchain, NFTs, ativos digitais... Era tudo uma febre delirante.
Até hoje o Splinterlands continua presente na minha vida — mesmo que com menos intensidade do que antes. Quando comecei, até cheguei a fazer alguns posts na Hive, mas sinceramente, eu nem sabia muito bem o que estava fazendo ou como as coisas funcionavam por aqui. Passei cerca de um ano apenas jogando quase todos os dias.
Depois de um tempo, tentei voltar a postar sobre Splinterlands. Ainda não conhecia os desafios semanais, nem sabia como funcionava a comunidade. Foi então que um brazuca, o @michupa, me encontrou perdido pela Hive e me apresentou à HiveBR. Eu era uma ovelha desgarrada... até que encontrei meu rebanho.
A partir desse momento, eu nunca mais parei de postar. No começo, eram apenas posts sobre SPL, mas aos poucos fui explorando outras comunidades. Hoje, posso dizer com tranquilidade que a Hive faz parte da minha vida, da minha rotina diária.
Atualmente, diminuí bastante minha frequência nos jogos da Hive. Ainda faço alguns posts sobre Splinterlands, mas não jogo mais com a mesma regularidade, pois tenho muitas responsabilidades na vida real. Trabalho, faculdade, família e outros afazeres têm consumido bastante o meu tempo. Por isso, meu foco tem sido em postagens na Hive Learners, Liketu (compartilhando minha vida pessoal) e outras comunidades. Hoje posso dizer, com orgulho, que faço parte da Hive — e que ela também faz parte de mim.
Neste ano, estabeleci uma grande meta: atingir 10 KHP. No momento, estou com pouco mais de 7 KHP. Parece algo quase impossível, considerando que faltam apenas cinco meses para o fim do ano e que meu ganho mensal de HP gira em torno de 300 a 400. Então, a conta realmente não fecha. Mas eu sou do tipo teimoso, que não curte muito planilhas — apenas sigo o plano e sigo em frente.
Quando comecei, praticamente todo o meu HP era delegado. Hoje, mudei isso. Cerca de 50% do meu HP está delegado, e minha meta é reduzir esse número para 30%, quem sabe até 10% no longo prazo. Quero votar manualmente nos conteúdos e projetos que eu realmente acredito, que fazem sentido pra mim e para o ecossistema da Hive.
Por fim, quero agradecer a todos e a tudo que me trouxe até aqui. Sou grato por essa oportunidade. Mesmo que nem tudo seja fácil, é muito especial fazer parte de algo, lutar por algo que a gente gosta e sempre sonhou.
Meu sonho sempre foi "ganhar dinheiro jogando". Acho que até cheguei perto disso, mas na verdade... encontrei algo muito melhor!
