Hello Nature Lovers !

The first week of Hive is coming to an end and we all had some time to to get comfortable here and set our things up. I am so glad to see that nearly every single one of you came here already 😁 .. Today I want to make three announcements to you regarding the state of the Amazing Nature Community.
- We have Moderators now that I want to introduce to you.
- The Contest moved and has a new rewarding system.
- The auto-voter is running now
The New Moderators of Amazing Nature
The choice, to make the following Hiveans into moderators was made based on several aspects. First of all every single one of them is there from the very beginning, when there was no community, no contest, but a single challenge for nature interested people. Since that day all of them constantly supported that challenge with amazing entries and helped to grow it into the great contest that it is now. They are also all strong pillars on which this whole community was formed on in the beginning. In addition they are known for their great and beautiful nature related blogs and posts that enrich the whole Hiveosphere of Nature-Lovers out there. Last but not least they all found a place in my heart and I would never want to miss them here on Hive. Ok, enough talking, here are the seven chosen ones: @annephilbrick, @bucipuci, @joanstewart, @kaminchan, @nelinoeva, @papilloncharity, @redheadpei and @seadbeady. If you are missing someone here and want to add a hivean, just propose one. This list is not a fixed and exclusive one, but open to anyone that wants to support this community.
@annephilbrick

The Amazing Nature Contest has a new Reward System
Since the Amazing Nature Contest moved from Stem to Hive, the Reward System had to change too. I will change the Reward-System to Hive Tokens from now on ! I will give out following prizes to the winners of the contest:
- 1st Place : 3 Hive
- 2nd Place : 2 Hive
- 3rd Place : 1 Hive
The rules of the contest are still the same as before. But I better post them here once again.
- Please join the Community and POST your entry INTO the AMAZING NATURE COMMUNITY. This makes it a part of it and visible to all other members of the community. You can add the #amazingnature TAG after it if you like.
- CLEARLY MENTION that your post is an ENTRY for this contest.
- All pictures have to be your own. You can use the amazing nature banner if you like or create your own.
- STATE IN THE TEXT why those pictures are representing YOUR AMAZING NATURE. This is an ESSENTIAL part of this contest.
- Drop the LINK to your post IN THE COMMENTS. You can add a picture if you like. It is NECESSARY as I have to post a link in Discord on Friday, 5 days later for voting and also for my own compiling purposes.
- The entry window is open for ~ 5 DAYS. Watch out for the -CLOSED in the title.
The New Auto-Voter is running
Since the new Hive Auto-Voter is running now, I could put some Nature Lovers and their blogs on that list already. So far I have my auto-votes set to a 40% vote for moderators and a 20% vote for other Nature Lovers out there. I find the use of an auto-voter necessary, as for me personally it is quite imposible and time consuming to look up every great post of yours and I too often miss one out which is a pitty. I also will only use around 80-90% of my daily Voting Power capacity on this voter. The rest I reserve for manual curation. I am also planing in increasing my current VP, so that any upvote can have a greater impact for you.
Amazing Nature Community

You all asked for one and here it is, the AMAZING NATURE COMMUNITY. It is dedicated to all you Nature Lovers out there, no matter if Zoology, Botany, Landscapes or Philosophy ^^ You will also find all entries to the contest in there. It has the #hive-127788 tag and you can find it here:

DNA - Densifying Nature-Appreciation :

DNA is an organization, managed by @medro-martin, to foster and DENSIFY NATURE-APPRECIATION which aims to establish REPORTS OF BIODIVERSITY DATA that is contributed by all of us Hiveans and subsequently cataloged.
Therefore DNA searches for HIGH-QUALITY posts that aim to DESCRIBE and determine the BIODIVERSITY AROUND YOU with added EXPLANATIONS and INFORMATIONS. For these informative posts they offer a CURATION SERVICE using the @dna.steem account. It is also a CURATION TRAIL. Just add the #dna TAG if you think that any of your posts is what they are looking for.
At the moment DNA is also the home of the #amazingnature contest for all your post about the amazing nature all around us and also the home of the #featheredfriends hosted by the lovely @melinda010100 🦢 for all you great posts about our feathered friends ^^ But we hope that more nature related communities will join, or maybe some Hiveans start their own little project there ;) .. Maybe even you?
If you are INTERESTED in DNA, please do not hesitate to ask about it, or directly JOIN US in the DNA DISCORD ;)
