Father & Son Activities - Sledge Riding

Hello lovely Hiveans !

One month ago our second son was born. The time was kind of stressful so far and we are lacking a lot of sleep. The fact, that I am also working since two months, is stressing me out additionally. Nevertheless, we have to tackle the situation and we are also not allowed to forget our first born son on the way. As I told you in some previous posts, I use the weekends for some Father & Son time. It is not only relaxing myself a bit, but also is a great time for use both to have some really cool fun 😁

Up to the Mountain Top ^^

As we moving into the beautiful snowy mountains, and we have a gondola close to our home, we decided to use the weekends for a really cool sledging ride marathon 🛷

The snow in the valley is already melted away completely, as you can see here on the picture from the gondola lift to the village high up in the mountain top 🏞️ .. Spring has already started here, but the night can still get very cold, but not as low as -15°C anymore 😉

After we reached the village, we took the chair lift to get up to the snowy tops where all the skiing and apre-ski parties are happening ⛷️ .. This was really exciting and some fun for both of us ^^

When we reached the top, we saw all the snow, that is supposed to stay there for the whole year. Some people were there, using the bar lift for their skiing routine. We watched them for a while, but then we went on and rent us a Sledge 🏔️🛷

The track started next to the is party hut here, which had some happy and drunk visitors and a great atmosphere in general 🥳 .. To he view down the valley was great and you could also see the mountain tops on the other side of the valley from there 🏔️👀

Let's go for a Sledge Ride !!!

The whole sledge track took us about 20 minutes per ride. The Gorski sledge, that we rented, could be stirred by changing the body weight and we needed a while to get used to it 😂 .. It had space for both of us. What we did not expect, was the super high speed ⚡

Bends like this one here, were spits where we simply did not take it completely and ended up on the side of the track 😱 .. The first ride was a lot of learning, but a lot of fun !

There were spots like this one here, where loosing the track means a drop down the mountain 😜 .. Nevertheless, after a few attempts, we got used to the sledge and the speed and the fun increased and we got less nervous ^^

We are glad, that we still took the chance for a last sledging day before the show diminishes in the coming weeks .. In the next winter season we will definitely do some sledging days again 😁 .. Father and Son times here in the mountains are awesome in the winter, but we are expecting great spring and summer activities too .. and are already looking forward to them 🤗
