It is incredible how nature opens its way in its need to grow, to maintain itself, to live. Every living being feels this desire to live, and this is even embodied in our genes.
The living beings of the plant kingdom also have that survival code in their DNA.
And it is interesting how it looks for nutrients and water, which is vital for it to develop, to be able to produce fruits and to be able to reproduce.
I want to tell you about something that has been happening in my house for some time.
In the town where we live it is very common the deficiency in the drinking water service and that is not a secret to anyone.
So much so that a few weeks ago the area where we live had been informed that the public administration had repaired the drinking water pumping system, but it did not reach our house.
For a moment I thought that the news was a lie, but I could see that there was considerable pressure in the pipe, but there was not much water flow.
This led me to the conclusion that the water pipe that supplies our home might have been blocked by some element.
It was time to do something about it and I decided to perform an inspection of the pipe fittings sections (joints, elbows, joints and valves) which is where normally any solid or element that may enter the stream for any reason can stop.
After sectioning the pipe, in the last remaining joint to be inspected I found something unusual: a small root of the mango tree we have on our site made a promise by penetrating with thin fibers through the thread of the joint, opening the way for the internal part of the pipe to develop a kind of natural 'probe' through which the tree could get all the water it wanted in a constant way.
I had seen this phenomenon before, but in pipes and drains of sewage or sewers, but first time that I observe this phenomenon in a drinking water pipeline.
I did not think at any time that it could be something like this, since these types of pipes are airtight, but this small root was able to circumvent the airtightness and achieve its goal.
I share with you some photos so that you can see the phenomenon that, in my case, is one more experience to take into account when facing a problem like this at home.

Es increíble como la naturaleza se abre paso en su necesidad de crecer, de mantenerse, se vivir. Todo ser vivo siente ese deseo de vivir, y eso está plasmado hasta en nuestros genes.
Los seres vivos del reino vegetal también tienen ese código de supervivencia en su ADN.
Y es interesante como busca los nutrientes y el agua que es vital para que pueda desarrollarse, poder producir frutos y poder reproducirse.
De esto quiero contarles algo que venía pasando en mi casa desde hace algún tiempo.
En el pueblo donde vivimos es muy común la deficiencia en el servicio de agua potable y eso no es un secreto para nadie.
Tanto así que hace algunas semanas se había informado al sector donde vivimos que la administración pública había realizado la reparación del sistema de bombeo de agua potable, pero en nuestra casa no llegaba.
Por un momento pensé que era mentira la noticia, pero si pude constatar que había una presión considerable en la tubería, pero no había mucho caudal de agua.
Esto me llevo a la conclusión de que en la tubería de agua que surte a nuestro hogar podía haber una obstrucción por algún elemento.
Llegó el momento de hacer algo al respecto, y decidí realizar una inspección en las secciones de los accesorios de la tubería (uniones, codos, juntas y válvulas) que es allí donde normalmente puede detenerse algún sólido o elemento que pueda ingresar al torrente por cualquier causa.
Luego de seccionar la tubería, en la última unión que quedaba por inspeccionar me encontré con algo insólito: una pequeña raíz del árbol de mangos que tenemos en nuestro patio realizó una prohesa al penetrar con delgadas fibras por la rosca de la unión, abriendo paso para que, en la parte interna de la tubería se desarrollará una especie de 'sonda' natural por la cual el árbol podía obtener toda el agua que deseara de manera constante.
Yo había visto este fenómeno anteriormente, solo en tuberías y drenajes de aguas servidas o cloacas, pero primera vez que observo este fenómeno en un ducto de agua potable.
No pensé en ningún momento que podía ser algo como esto, en vista de que ese tipo de tuberías son herméticas, pero está pequeña raíz pudo burlar la hermeticidad de la rosca y lograr su objetivo.
Les comparto algunas fotos para que puedan ver el fenómeno que, en mi caso, es una experiencia más para tomar en cuenta a la hora de enfrentar un problema como este en casa.
