Buenas tardes querida comunidad #amazingnature, es primera vez que escribo en esta comunidad y la razón n por la cual lo hago es mi árbol de castañas. Hace unos pocos años una amiga me dio castañas de su árbol, ella se fue del país y mi mamá plantó algunas semillas, hace un mes que dichas semillas, luego de convertirse en un árbol dieron frutos, pues si ahora tengo castañas.

Good afternoon dear #amazingnature community, this is the first time I write in this community and the reason why I do it is my chestnut tree. A few years ago a friend gave me chestnuts from her tree, she left the country and my mother planted some seeds, a month ago these seeds, after becoming a tree, bore fruit, well now I have chestnuts.

Realmente no nos habíamos percatado que el árbol ya tenía castañas, sentimos caer algo al techo y cuando subimos a ver, resultó ser una castaña de tamaño medio.

Al empezar a abrir observamos que las semillas estaban completas y bien formadas, como dije no era de gran tamaño pero estaban todas maduras.

Por tal razón, decidimos cocinarlas, solamente las sancochamos, con agua y un poco de sal, luego de un tiempo prudente, es decir cuando la concha se abrió, dejamos de cocinarlas las colamos y dejamos enfriar.

Salieron unas 40 semillas, quedaron muy ricas y nos las comimos con bastante gusto, debo decir que en el árbol quedaron otras mas pequeñas, estamos esperando maduren y crezcan enormes.

When we started to open we observed that the seeds were complete and well formed, as I said they were not large but they were all ripe.

For this reason, we decided to cook them, we only parboiled them, with water and a little salt, after a prudent time, that is, when the shell was opened, we stopped cooking them, strained them and let them cool.

About 40 seeds came out, they were very tasty and we ate them with great pleasure, I must say that there were other smaller ones left on the tree, we are waiting for them to mature and grow enormous.
