Kahm yeast is a common annoyance during the lactic fermentation process. Although I was hoping not to get it on my Sauerkraut's brine, I knew it was very much probable that it could happen. I had covered the container with a linen cloth, so there was enough air for the yeast to grow. It was unavoidable.
All in all, when I uncovered the whole thing to check how it was going, I found this beautiful stringy pattern.
