Tiny little thing that I barely noticed growing tangled together with another weed plant. One of the weeds that nobody pays attention too and will get rid of when it starts to grow among veggies.
Vicia disperma

Despite it does seem like an invasive weed, it is quite pretty. There is a few types of Vicia growing around and some have larger flowers in move vivid purple colours. This one is really tiny! Those light lilac blooms are probably less than 1 cm in length. The dark green leaves are just a little bit bigger.
But it does spread fast and covers the ground like a champ!
And of course lets not forget about all the twisty things :)
It is native to Mediterranean region and feels great in the climate with hot, dry summer and colder, rainy winter. It is an annual plant with blooming time starting around March. They will last until the end of July. In that time it will simultaneously bloom and produce little seed pods that look like pea pod. As the stem grows it will continue to do so until it eventually dies back and in spring new plant grow from the seeds.
