Hello dear friends, lovers of landscapes and nature in general, today I want to tell about my experience on a walk that I did with some friends yesterday, Sunday, September 8. Our destination was a place known as La Olla, a series of natural waterfalls hidden in the mountains on the borders of the Lara State - Venezuela, to get to the place where the waterfalls are you have to take a long journey where you have to cross two mountains , the route being about 8 kilometers from the bus stop to the waterfalls. It was a pleasant experience in the company of my friends and an opportunity to visit this place totally unknown to me, although it is very close. I enjoyed the landscape, the clean air, the singing of the birds and of course the crystal clear water, I briefly describe my experience here with some photos, I hope you like it.
Hola queridos amigos, amantes de los paisajes y la naturaleza en general, hoy quiero relatar mi experiencia en una caminata que hice junto a unos amigos el día de ayer domingo 8 de Septiembre. Nuestro lugar de destino fue un sitio conocido como La Olla, una serie de cascadas naturales escondidas en las montañas en los límites del Estado Lara - Venezuela, para llegar al lugar donde están las cascadas hay que hacer un largo recorrido donde hay que atravesar dos montañas, siendo la ruta de unos 8 kilómetros desde la parada del autobús, hasta las cascadas. Fue una grata experiencia en compañía de mis amigos y una oportunidad de visitar este sitio totalmente desconocido por mi, aunque se encuentra muy cerca. Disfruté del paisaje, del aire limpio, el canto de las aves y como no del agua cristalina, relato aquí brevemente mi experiencia con algunas fotos, espero les guste.

We began to enter the mountain, at first I was with my companions but after a few minutes they were left behind while I advanced, the vegetation was somewhat heavy which made the humidity rise, it was somewhat difficult to breathe, but thanks to the fact that I practice cycling and I practice basketball, I had the conditions to continue without problems, what I liked most was the smell of vegetation, an indescribable aroma. Now I can say that the color green reminds me of a smell, a synesthetic experience.
Comenzamos a adentrarnos en la montaña, al principio iba con mis compañeros pero al pasar algunos minutos se fueron quedando rezagados mientras yo avanzaba, la vegetación era algo pesada lo que hacía subir la humedad, era algo complicado respirar, pero gracias a que practico ciclismo y practico basket, tenía las condiciones para continuar sin problemas, lo que más me gustaba era el olor a vegetación, un aroma indescriptible. ahora si puedo decir que el color verde me recuerda a un olor, una experiencia de sinestesia
About 45 minutes later I had already climbed the first mountain and was descending to climb the other. On the way I found some houses with very hospitable people who gave me some other directions. My friends were even further behind, only two people were able to keep up with me.
Unos 45 minutos después ya había subido la primera montaña y me encontraba descendiendo para subir la otra, en el camino encontré algunas casas con personas muy hospitalarias quienes me dieron algunas otras indicaciones, mis amigos quedaron aún más rezagados, solo dos personas pudieron seguirme el paso.
The next section of the walk was terrifying, the sun came out without mercy and the fatigue increased even more, but I managed to reach the summit where I took a brief break to breathe fresh air, see the valley from that place and enjoy what they looked like. the mountains. This little girl was able to go at my pace, she kept up with me the entire time and never stopped talking, her energy is admirable, so much so that on the way back she was also my companion, and it didn't seem like she had come walking at the beginning.
El siguiente tramo de la caminata fue espantoso, el sol salió sin clemencia y el cansancio aumentó aún más, pero logre llegar a la cumbre donde hice un breve descanso, para respirar aire puro, ver el valle desde ese lugar y disfrutar de como se veían las montañas. Esta pequeña niña fue capaz de ir a mi ritmo, me siguió el paso todo el tiempo y nunca paraba de hablar, es admirable su energía, tanto que de regreso también fue mi acompañante, y no parecía que hubiera venido caminando al inicio.
Finally we arrived at our destination, I lost contact with the rest of the team, only 4 people managed to arrive in 1 hour and 30 minutes and that included the little one, but it was not over, there was still another kilometer to go through a heavy forest in the middle of the mountains to reach the wells.

Entering through the forest I found bicycle tracks, many adventurers usually enter the mountains with their bicycles, I admire them, because you have to have good physical capacity to be able to achieve it. Meters ahead we could already hear the sound of water and the first small wells appeared, it was almost time for our arrival place.
Entrando por el bosque encontré huellas de bicicletas, muchos aventureros suelen adentrarse en la smontañas con sus bicicletas, los admiro, porque hay que tener una buena capacidad física para poder lograrlo. Metros mas adelante ya se escuchaba el sonido del agua y aparecían los primeros pequeños pozos, faltaba poco para nuestro lugar de llegada.
We arrived at the great well, but to my surprise, there were many adventurers who had already arrived earlier than us, we were there for a while, we left our things and shared, without a doubt the environment was beautiful, the cold water with the vegetation, A very wonderful place, but I wanted more.
Llegamos al gran pozo, pero para mi sorpreda, se encontraban muchos aventureros que ya habían llegado más temprano que nosotros, estuvimos ahí un rato con ellos, dejamos nuestras cosas y compartimos, sin duda el ambiente era hermoso, el agua fría con la vegetación, todo un lugar muy maravilloso, pero yo quería más.
I had the audacity to move away a little and explore meters below, and luckily for me I found a solitary place, with more crystal clear waters, where I could enjoy myself like never before, it was the best thing I could do. It is not advisable to stray from the group, but the risk was worth it, I regretted not having taken my painting materials and having painted a picture of such a beautiful place.
Tuve la osadía de apartaerme un poco y explorar metros más abajo, y para mi fortuna encontré un lugar solitario, con aguas más cristalinas, donde pude disfrutar como nunca, fue lo mejor que pude hacer. No es recomendable apartarse del grupo, pero el riesgo valió la pena, lamenté no haberme llevado mis materiales de pintura y haber pintado un cuadro de semejante sitio tan hermoso.
At 4 in the afternoon we began our way back, a little more relaxed and rested, the temperature of the water comforted me and made the tiredness disappear from my body, so I managed to descend with energy, enjoying of course, the beautiful landscape, see the valley from above and how the sky seems to unite with the earth, it took me a little longer to descend since I did it in 2 hours and 10 minutes, but as I said I did it with the purpose of enjoying the landscape even more.
A las 4 de la tarde inciamos nuestro camino de regreso, un poco más relajado y descansado, la temperatura del aguna me reconfortó e hizo que el cansancio desapareciera de mi cuerpo, así que logre descender con energía, disfrutando como no, del hermoso paisaje, ver el valle desde arriba y como el cielo parece unirse con la tierra, tardé un poco más en el descenso ya que lo hice en 2 horas con 10 minutos, pero como dije lo hice con el proposito de disfrutar aun más del paisaje.
On the way back I couldn't miss my little companion, my applause for this girl who had infinite energy, who enjoyed the trip like all of us, it is a pleasure to see that she is not like the rest of the children poisoning her mind with the screen of a cell phone . Without a doubt, we must continue to encourage this behavior towards nature, the walking group was excellent and I was amazed and eager to return. De regreso no podía faltar mi pequeña compañera, mis aplausos para esta niña que poseía energía infinita, quien se disfrutó el viaje como todos nosotros, es un placer ver que no está como el resto de niños envenenando su mente con la pantalla ede un teléfono celular. Sin duda hay que seguir alentando ese comportamiento hacia la naturaleza, el grupo de paseo fue excelente y quedé maravillado con muchas ganas de regresar.
