I had several situations where I could take some nice pictures and videos of animals in the wild with my Camera and with my 150-600mm lens it is easier to get close to the animals for some videos but on some rare occasions I could get so close to the animals that I could take some videos and pictures of them even with my smartphone. Ground squirrels and marmottes are some very interesting animals that can trunst you very much and therefore come pretty close. I was able to take several videos of them using only my smartphone. For birds this would probably not be possible.
