I shared out trip to Temple of Leah in my previous Liketu post. On that same day, we also visited Sirao Flower Farm. It's a flower garden located in Cebu City, and it's one of the main destinations when you visit the highlands of the city.
I've been to the garden a couple of times but this particular visit happened during the summer, and many flowers were in full bloom. We left Temple of Leah late in the afternoon, and I was afraid it would be dark by the time we arrived at Sirao Flower Farm. Fortunately, there was still some light when we reached the garden.
My cousin saw a famous photo of the garden online where there was a giant hand that you could climb and stand on. I'd never seen such a thing, but when we went inside the garden, I was surprised when I saw it. It wasn't there during my first visit, and they must have added it as another attraction. A few people were lining up to have their pictures taken. While waiting, I roamed around the garden taking pictures of the colorful flowers. I'm not an expert on flowers, but there were some that I recognized, including roses (of course), Celosia, daisies, and Cleome spiders.
It was our turn at the hand and we had our pictures taken individually. It was getting dark, and our pictures weren't the best, but standing on top of the hand was still fun.
After our time in the garden, we went to a restaurant called Top of Cebu and enjoyed a scrumptious dinner with amazing views of the cityscape below.
